Well, it was actually my Western Digital external drive that failed on me. Sadly it is past it's RMA period via Newegg, but I'm contacting them anyways to see what direction they point me in. If they can refund/replace it for me despite the period of time that's past, then that's preferred over dealing with the manufacturer.

However, I just finished testing my new 3TB Seagate drive and everything green lit, so I'm creating my partition now.

It scared me too cause I was just dicking around with Clover looking at network option layouts and boom, my buddy's PC instantly boots up the moment I scrolled over his shared network folder.

It was a cheap external, so umm... Elements?
In retrospect, I really shouldn't have invested so much faith in such a dinky drive, but live and learn I guess.

Guess I just got unlucky. Had that nasty directory corruption thingy happen slightly over a month of ownership and use. Lost everything and had to reformat. Seems to be working now, but I'm 99% sure my drive is overall defective based on failing virtually every test I've ran on it.

Hopefully Newegg or WD helps me out, but if not it'll be a backup drive and I'll simply hope for the best.

Heh yeah. Under the hood, things are fantastic. Fast and stable.
The UI and general look and feel though is akin to listening to Fran Drescher talk.

Thankfully lots of mods and other tweeks make it tolerable.

I think I found the problem, there should be a wake on lan setting somewhere, disable it and it should fix it, if not: should be a setting in the bios you can change.

and leave the Nanny out of this.

EAC almost insists I make one with each album I rip, but I find virtually no practical use within having one. I don't even really have the means to view it for that matter.
