I was clicking around on Sakaguchi's wiki page and ended up on XV's page and looked at the people involved in it and I think I have higher hopes for it now than I did since we have Nojima Kazushige (KH series, FF7-9 and Advent Children/Before Crisis/Crisis Core) as scenario writer, Shimomura Yoko (KH series, Xenoblade Chronicles, Radiant Historia) as composer, Hashimoto Shinji (lots of FFs and KH) as producer :0 Not to mention Nomura as director (hurry the *** up with the game)

They are still making that? Haven't heard anything about it in ages.

They'll probably show it at TGS

Looks like a weird combo of Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, and girly looking dudes with gravity defying hair.

Think they need a FF where the Warriors of light are Beastmen and the Dark forces are humans.

Since FF games are just alternate realities there has to be one where the Beastmen are the good guys.

Goblin Main Hero.
Siren Main Heroine.
Mandy Goofy Sidekick.

Stuff like that. I think it has potential.

theve done games like it in the DQ series so it has potential, tho i doubt a human enemy.
personaly i want a game where you raise your own personal Mandy and have elements like in Animal Crossing/TheSims/Fantasy Life, can add all the known types and even add new ones like a lime or potato mandy lol, whould be an amazing game if they made it for the 3DS

I like Ackeron's idea more. Why would a human enemy be bad? We have some of the worst scum imaginable among humans after all

I'd be all over that if it was for the 3DS or even the DS. All I ever use my DS and 3DS for is Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Pokémon. Not too much use going into it anymore on my part.

I mean... morning, everyone. How are you all today?

Human enemy is kind of a staple to the FF franchise lol. A lot of the games the main bad guy was some evil human on a powertrip.

Think the hardest part would be getting you to relate to the characters so you care about their story and well being. Specially the inevitable romance between the main hero and heroine.

Interesting enough you could make it a Darker Final Fantasy then the norm if you used a storyline of the Beastmen Races being enslaved by the humans or hunted to extinction. The primary evil focused on the evil traits of mankind, such as the want to kill or oppress anything different then ones self.

The main Goblin could stumble onto a crystal while being forced to mine and it unlocks his latent power giving birth to the first Beastman of Light! He escapes the Slavemines and sets out to free the rest of his people. Along the way he will make allies of the other Beastmen Races and recruit more Beastmen of Light.

FFXV feels like a rehash of FFXIII with battle structure of FFXII....

Why can't they go back to the basics that made this series great?
