I'm surprised that our resident boobs hasn't posted more pics of herself in various cosplay poses today.

Give it a few days to heal up and I'll post a picture of my new cleavageriffic pirate pinup ink.

~.~ Was all excited, took a day off work, skipping class tomorrow, no clinicals, so I had a 4 day weekend for my birthday.

Came home early from class on Wednesday because I wasn't feeling so hot, fell asleep when I got home, then spent half of Wednesday night with my head in the toilet... slept basically until about an hour ago and I'm still icky. Don't remember the last time I was this sick.

Silver lining is I guess it was a good thing I took today off work in advance.

Certainly not.

Truth be told, I gave the artist pics of a Hume F face 3 in corsair AF2 (my wife's model) and Isabela from Dragon Age 2 and told him to use them as general guidelines and create from there.

I'm quite pleased with the results. My wife thinks it's pretty great too.

That would explain this sign over his doorway:

Looking at the peanut butter sandwich in my lunchbox, thinking really hard about ordering pizza for lunch knowing I should just eat the sandwich...but pizza sounds so much better.

I ordered biotic-injected pig and GMO-laden peppers on top of a disc of gluten-packed bread product, topped with what are surely GMO-grown tomatoes smashed into a sauce and also sprinkled with hormone-laden, homogenized, pasteurized milk cheese.

I really don't understand the big hoopla over genetically modified fruits/veggies/grains/etc.

They are usually modified to basically grow faster/bigger/more and be resistant to bacteria and viruses. This ultimately gives the ability to grow more of a product in less space more often. There is like seriously zero down side to this other than people's complaints of it not being "natural" or organic. It's just giving nature a evolutionary push to help solve current problems in my head.

People who are "organic food onry" drive me up the *** wall. Pay more, get less!

We dont know the possible side effects over the long term to eating genetically modified food! Well thats what they argue and research is going into it now. I dont really care though :P

I understand some people's fears.

But GMO foods aren't any different from anything else you've eaten your entire life. The problem is people don't understand agriculture.

All GMO does is speed up the process of cross-pollenation. Farmers have been genetically modifying food since before written language.

CORN is GRASS. If you have regular old non-fancy-seeded grass in your yard, go out and look at it. You'll see these tiny little corn-like buds among the clover and grass and the like.

If you've ever been picking completely natural strawberries, you'll appreciate genetically modified food a lot more. Chances are you'll never see an organic-minded person eating a non-GMO strawberry-and-spinach salad, whether they realize it or not.

Most natural strawberries are about the size of your pinky finger's nail. Assuming you trim your nails down really short.

I could go on.

Pesticides and the like are a slightly bigger worry and I can see the desire for buying food without those, or at least thoroughly washing your fruit and vegetables.

But as far as GMO goes...these people need to stop crying.

Sure we do.

We've been eating it since humans first cross-pollenated two plants to produce a more desirable result the next season.
