I know we touched on this previously in Random, but yeah. I've been going back and listening to all their stuff since Leviathan and I've found I was horribly mislead by the songs released as singles. Which just goes to show you can't trust SiriusXM/Octane. Wish I could somehow get them to un-merge and give me Squizz back. (And Beyond Jazz, but that's slightly unrelated).
Currently listening to some Atreyu today, probably louder than I should, but I can see the flashing light on my phone if it rings and I'm trying to drown out coworkers today.

The thing I really love about this album is the subtle hints towards something darker than it might originally seem. You can really catch it in this track (Tread Lightly):
Listen closely to that chorus. The harmony fits the melody, but it's just slightly off, which gives it a sick, twisted feel. That's kinda how the whole album sounds to me.

It's not better or worse, it's different. There are good and bad things in both games and you'd have to try it for yourself to see if you like it.

Edit: But yeah. Now that my Atreyu playlist finished I threw Once More 'Round The Sun on and I definitely understand what you're saying.
It's got this sort of crawling, slithering vibe to it. Love it. It's right up my alley these days.

Would you recommend it to somebody who's only going to play 1 MMORPG to switch?
Sure, you don't need to invest a ton of time for things except new coil. Even though the relic weapons (atma, animus and novus stages) can take a while it's something you can work on a bit every day and make progress
But even for the newest coil turns you don't have to invest as much time as you used to for Sky, Sea, Dynamis etc

Personally I'm waiting to see if they finally release an MMO basd on Firefly.
If they do, it's either going to be freaking amazing and I will play, or it's going to be utter trash and we Browncoats will probably badmouth the studio/developer into bankruptcy.
