lol It is very plausible. Through text, you can be whoever you want or act however you want. However, sometimes people are fake even with the absence of a computer screen barrier. Taking the time to get to actually know someone is a must in person or online. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has learned the hard way that there is risk in either method. -_-

I find the opposite to be true for myself really. Why wouldn't I act like myself when "it's just the internet, I'll probably never actually meet these people for them to made judgments upon me face-to-face?"

I take a while for me to warm up to people really, and lots of people will never know me as I really am, but merely as I intend to be seen (which changes depending on context; ie: social, professional etc)

Well, I've gotten in Skype with a few people. Aelius, Spath, Kailana, Mikuu, Chuu, a few others.

EDIT: Tried to get Scragg in Skype, but he's all like "Skype doesn't work well on Linux." & stuff.
