Yeah, I like that voice more. Of course Brotherhood is 10x better but it's just weird with all the replaced voices. Mustang's is the only one I dislike though.

I haven't seen it in so long I can't accurately comment on it. There was a few things about the other show I liked more, but just overall brotherhood is a lot better.
I can't say i miss the 75 cap days.. Leveling was a horror, and unless you were in a big elite linkshell you were doomed to never g get anything that had great value. (Unless you were filthy rich, of course)
Weirdly enough, I enjoyed the heck out of Abyssea and when i finally understood Voidwatch, it was just simply frustrating but nonetheless fun.
However, 75 cap days definitely was the most bond-filled era. Because you had to dedicate entire days, weeks, months, even years to complete tasks, or goals.

yeah, honestly never got into abyssea really, I've been in there, but very little, don't even do my leveling in there.

worst part of it for me was always waiting for 17 other people to arrive and be ready to do things in addition to those 17 other people being good enough to not jeopardize the event. that's why I like the 6-man centric gameplay of modern XI; less reliance on other people for scheduling and success. removes negative variables.

I definitely think they should have safe-guarded that initial experience of the game of leveling through parties in starter areas by making some sort of requirements besides a level 30 cap to entire and participate in it.

Almost nobody that I used to play with plays anymore. Haven't ran into a single old face either. It's strange, but at least there's no rush to catch up.

14 more days until my month is up and I started from scratch. Just going at my own pace, got to lvl 60 so far, doing g3 right now and thf af knife and head done. Made almost 3 mil gil too.
I still find it fun though, only met one new person so far. Got to remember to grab an LS next time I run into them.

Luckily some of my friends from 11 play 14 with me :(
A group of my friends used to play in 1.0 but most of that group stopped playing and now one of them came back the other day so hopefully he plays alittle more now lol

Hey now! Your profile said Offline for like 6 months, I thought you were gone.
I resub to xi every so often to see if it's worth it, then usually figure out by the first 2 hours it's not and ... yeah :/
My problem was the lack of help, I think if I had more friends to play with that would ... (at this point carry me ... ) to at least a viable not suck point ... I would be happy.

The only person I used to play that still plays is... hmmm it's nice to see him as #1 on the server now, lol. I remember him trying to climb Nyzul Isle back in the day.
