Don't worry about the fall damage change, you take less fall damage once you get to decent levels. I rarely even need to equip the Silvercat ring any more since barely any falls will kill me. Except the ones into the bottomless pits of the abyss of course.
Still need to die 100 times myself so I can get that ring.

The only thing that changed about Sam Elliot was his hair. His mustache stayed pretty much the same, except for the few scenes he had to shave it off for.
