Played Monk like a boss up till I hit 50, hit 50, suddenly don't know what the *** I'm doing feels like lol. I exaggerate, but Perfect Balance and Dragon Kick still making me go, "Ugh, how do I optimize?" I'll figure it out though, I'm sure.
I haven't quite perfected monk ... in all honesty... I think I've used perfect balance... twice? (Or I think it was that?)

I don't use perfect balance that often, but I do when i need to replenish my greased lightning stacks pronto to keep DPS up. For example, during titan (any titan) when he jumps if you don't time your final hit right then you will lose all your stacks. This isnt a bad thing most the time, but during heart phase you don't really have the luxury of working back up to 3 stacks. During that time i like to pop off perfect balance, dragon kick (for the debuff), then spam snap punch and at least 1 demolish (for the DoT) to get back to 3 stacks really fast. This helps me maintain a steady high dps when it counts.

Yeah, Perfect Balance is for getting GL stacks back up as quickly as possible if they're forced to drop for whatever reason.

Perfect balance is honestly best used as an opener on bosses, can quickly get all 3 GL buffs and apply demolish off the bat. well thats how i use it anyway.

I'd personally rather save it for a burst phase in case I mess up and drop my GL stacks.
