Just had my first taste of blood in FFXIV PvP, went DRG doing level 30 mode, opening with sprint > invigorate and the other team just shitting bricks everywhere lol.

Finally got around to cleaning up the mess others left in my kitchen (was avoiding it due to sheer pride, but I got tired of the smell) the next time I find mold growing in my sink, heads are going to *** roll.

I'd wait until third/fourth quarter this year for when the 800 series is released and then go with an 860 or 870.
Thinking I may do a rebuild early next year with new intels and gtxs. My current rig will be pushing 4 by then. But I tend to do higher end machines, i7 and x70+ and copious amounts of high speed ram I will never completely use.
I'm pretty sure the devil invented shaving just to make men angry and annoyed every morning.

Hmmm yeah I was looking at the price to what it is, it seems like a good deal ... for what I'd be using it for at least :p I don't need the greatest (or at least now I don't ...)
I never understood why people would keep upgrading their PC every month when they'll just upgrade it again within a few more months.
Then again, I play games on low settings cuz I use a shitty graphics card. I'm too cheap to spend a ton of money to upgrade just to go from low to medium settings.

My theory on this was to drop 2~3k on a rig and future proof it a little.
Currently running an FX-8120, 570x2 in sli, 16GB RAM, everything oc'ed. Can still run most games on higher settings, but I like to be able to max stuff out.
Graphics card is actually the oldest part in my PC right now, so I'm wanting to just upgrade it a little bit, everything else is future proof for a year or more.

Extreme is actually easier to learn because you can follow the same motions almost the entire fight. Just dodge to the left > Restack > dodge to the left > restack. The double wotl seems to be what intimidates people the most but it's irrelevant because you dodge it by restacking.
Ex looks more complicated on paper but the actual execution is much simpler than hard.

If you watch them flashing you can tell because the ones flashing the fastest dropped first, I think they also have a cast bar. Tbh I don't even watch the circle ones drop and just wait till one goes off to decide where I'm going.
Or just pay attention to your surroundings. :p
