I don't consider an NPC summon to be the same as having a player helping

Ive been going on a full melee build, no magic as of yet, I might consider it on my 2nd play, as ...DRK Knights do use some form of spells so I guess its not breaking the rules >.>;

This game was known for its difficulty and frustration first time through, til you are able to get accustom to its mechanics and mob attack patterns, so Id like to keep that experience intact to its fullest~ I'm the type of player that will put any game on the highest difficulty without ever knowing anything about the game and jumping in. You seem to consider summons and upgraded weapons/armor some kind of cheat though, from what you've said before. I really don't get it though, it's a part of the game and every boss was designed with that in mind so why not make use of it? Especially on your first playthrough, you can do all sorts of challenges after if you want. Asura.Ludoggy said: » ![]() Asura.Ludoggy said: » ![]() No one likes mao. If you max out a weapon, based on its base damage you'll have a much easier time than if you kept it at +5 or +10. It's not a cheat, it's a dynamic setting to adjust the difficulty of the game. NPC summons are put in for players who can't get past a certain point and need to summon to progress further in the game. Don't play dumb with me, sir! I've seen you fawn over their cuteness a number of times. :<
