There's just nothing better than a snowy day where you snuggle into your hoodie and headphones at work, then come home for a nice hot bowl of roasted red pepper and tomato soup (with sourdough bread to dip in it, of course) and plenty of puppy cuddles, then ready a thermos of hot chocolate to take back to work with you. Mmmm! <3

The ineptitude of UPS in my area is astonishing. It's been out for delivery since 7:45AM this morning. I check again now that I got home from work, and it says "Destination scan". I call, ask what's going on, "we're backed up due to severe weather, your delivery will not be made until monday".
They were using that excuse all of last week and the week before. Want to know what the severe weather was?(keep in mind, it hasn't so much as rained since)

Doesn't Best Buy have the "buy online - pick up in store" policy now? I would call customer service and see if they can offer you that deal.

wasn't available at the time. honestly, i don't mind not getting the game today, but this is the third or fourth time now that UPS has used this same excuse for the same exact non-severe weather problem and it's kind of pissing me off.

in NY we had snowstorms of several feet, and the mailman still came. let alone 2 weeks later after all potentially inclement weather has long since been history.
