I've never tried it, but I'm not tired, but I have to be up in the AM for work, so the solution would be to pull an all nighter.

on another note: and not to be nitpicky, as I kind of agree that they're impossible to manage and never get anywhere productive, but when does 1 mod making an arbitrary decision about a type of thread equate to it being a site rule? It's just bad policy to go that route, imo.

Not to be nitpicky but it's because of people that we need moderators and rules. Threads like that causes nothing but hate and then the eventual flame war. If you have a great sales pitch, feel free to talk to Google Adsense to change their policy, until then, I have to do what I am appointed to do.

That's fine, but shouldn't "site rules" come from the mod community as a whole, and not an arbitrary decision made by a single person. That's my beef, not the subject at hand.

Edit: I think you missed my point, I had already stated that I kind of agree with the nuking.

edit2: it's not that I'm disagreeing with the particular threads at hand, just that it's a bad precedent to set in that manner, it's happened before on this site, and didn't end well.

I found a decent upload except that the subtitles were in chinese, which would have been fine since the movie is in english except for when they speak in elf or whatever those guys are....
