I was laughing... but I was also all d'awwww at the same time.

My major, not much. I'd have to go on to Grad school for my major (Psychology) to do anything with it. Which I don't want to lmao. Would end up doing some kind of psychology practice or research and nooo thank you.

My path right now is to apply to Physcian's Assistant program and get my Masters of Health Science. I mean there's tons of choices including specialization and just about every medical field has a use for PAs but I'm wondering if I should have done what I enjoy doing as my hobby as my career. Be a photographer or costume designer, something along those lines which is completely opposite of what I'm setting myself on to do.

Edit: Suppose I could live doing this career path and making enough money to do both my hobbies haha We'll see, I guess

Oh and the ironic part is I made myself go through a world of hell to get here. I could've graduated OU with nearly a 4.0 GPA if I HAD stuck to Psychology, and I think I wouldn't have had an issue getting accepted to top grad programs. ><

But I chose science and it royally hurt my GPA xD I didn't choose to do something I'm naturally good at, I chose to do something I have to challenge myself to do.

How far in are you with Psychology?

No worries, plenty of people end up reaching for the panic button and switching majors. You'll be fine. :) You'll have to knuckle-down a little more is all.

I complete my Bachelor of arts for psychology in December. I have a gen ed class and my final senior class left to do which I'm doing in the fall semester. I also finish my Russian minor this May. So basically I'm almost done with my undergraduate except all the upper division science requirements I have to do to get into PA school.

Maybe I'm just in panic mode like you said. Almost done, have to make the big decisions now.

Congratulations on the impending graduation regardless. Oh nooooos! It's funny realizing the paths that would be more beneficial in retrospect. A BS over a BA in psychology probably would have knocked some of the science requirements that you need, but what's done is done and at least you're almost out!

History/English to ARCH/ARCH History was my panic-mode. Cal and Physics almost made me want to put myself out of my own misery. I KNOW YOUR PAIN! You'll do fine, but that internal quibble does rear its head a lot. Once you throw those apprehensions over your shoulder, it starts out as a march. You'll eventually be skipping though.

I looked over everything for the BS over a BA last summer and in the end I would've had to stayed even longer to complete it than I am going to stay just doing the requirements :< If I had take more time though I probably could've gotten more minors. But I'm so burnt out on school already, I didn't want to stress myself even more.

And I won't lie, doing a senior thesis scared me off too. But in the end, PA schools hardly look at your BA/BS and they look at your overall GPA, major GPA, science GPA, your LoRs, experience, GRE, etc. They told me at the advising that they hardly pay much attention to what your bachelor is for as long as you fulfill their science requirements so I'm not too worried.

I hope you're right haha. I've already done so much to start doubting it now and it really bothers me.
