Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

FFXIV is easy, largely, but it's also in its beginning stages. 2.1 compounds on the building blocks and actually introduced some pretty difficult fights. Titan HM was hard. Titan EX is excitingly difficult. What's more, it all boils down to skill, perceptiveness, and the ability to improvise. Kalila's not the only one stopped at Titan, and a lot of people will continue to be stopped there. Difference is that Kalila can clear it given the opportunity.

Of course if her connection doesn't kill her over and over again.

Once you have a group that knows what they are doing it boils down to whether or not your Healers can handle the stress/don't get server chumped in the late phases. From what I've noticed there are a lot of healers out there who kind of crutch themselves on the superior healer, and then either lose focus or just can't handle transitioning into the later phase.

I want to beat it so bad. I've got similar frustrations as Kali.

Welp, I finally got my answer. After this past week and a half or so of guessing what "flattered" meant, I finally have some closure.

She's going with the other guy instead of me. It's disappointing, but I'd rather she told me this now instead of me constantly freaking out about every little thing she says. Ah well. At least I tried.

oh kali..I can feel confident and do anything and everything including coil..but I can't do titan at all. And I'm terrified to do it still even with my geared bard..part of it I think has to do with my first attempt past hard I got ragged on so hard for dieing and it's stayed with me. I still can't figure it out and panic.

we can do titan for you if you still need it whenever. Well, maybe not me..I'll help but probably end up getting us killed.

Ever go to one of the many sites that puts a grey overlay over the page insisting you sign up.

Honestly I'm more likely to use chrome to modify the div's styles so I can get on with the page than I am to sign up for whatever website.

I've been to a few that completely grey out the page if you have adblock turned on/installed. I usually just turn around and block the script causing it with noscript.

My secret to stuff like this, has been to take a break. After a day or so of not doing it, or just whenever I do that thing next, I'll get it within the first 3 tries.

No better time than now, Kali. It is already sucking you in. You're seeing it as a missed opportunity rather than a chance to save your own sanity.

Lady troubles, my friend. I got rejected, and at first I felt mostly apathetic about it, but now it's starting to dawn on me as to how crushing it is. If anything though, it's helping me develop emotional callouses. Maybe in a few more rejections, I'll be so used to it that it just won't affect me anymore.

This should be a wake up call. I need to lose the weight and get my life on track before I try again. That way, I'll have more confidence going into things.

The part that really stings the most is that she chose the other guy because he spent more time with her calling her and seeing her all the time. When I did that with a couple girlfriends ago, I was called "neurotic" and "clingy". So, with this one I figured I'd take a more standoff approach, and then I get burned by this. I think it's safe to say that I don't know what women want.

While emotional callouses are a good investment, be sure not to let them grow too large as they can quite easily turn into more of a hindrance than an advantage.

Good idea to channel that energy into other parts of your life though, just don't go thinking you're off track with your life or none of that junk, you're going to school, you've picked a career, and as far as I know you are aiming high. That's a lot more than others can say.

Overall, women are a weird animal, I have very little advice.

Limbo... mostly because there's so much floating around in my head lately that it's hard to dictate one emotion or feeling in general as of late. Been very... weird as of late. Hell, yesterday I half cried out of frustration before I even went to work. x.x
