First foray into PvP lol... *** handed to me, and the other players whined because of my gear.

The only for anyone to pump me for a commendation is not run away if I cover them... Other than that I usually give it to a DD since tanks and healers get enough as is.

I'd say invite a few more friends so that there's a group, that way she can feel included in the group without it feeling romantic. Let her hear you on the phone asking your other pals or something as well, that way if no one else shows up she won't feel like you tried to "trick" her into a date.

So I had Christmas money to spend, right, and I love shoes. DSW.com all the way! Except we have a DSW here, so my husband dropped me off there today while he went to a different store. :D
And I beelined to the clearance where I found two of the most adorable pairs of sandals in the world both clearanced down to nothing for a grand total of under $30. Whee!
So I bought them and went outside with my bag of sandals (obviously pleased with self) and was waiting for him to come back and pick me up again, when these people walking by started giving me really weird looks. And then I realized I was whistling the Indiana Jones theme song out loud. xD
I'm clearly the archaeologist of awesome shoes. It can't be helped! *Whip snap*

also finally got rid of that massive *** bookshelf in my room and OH MY GOD I love having just that little bit of space now!
Now i'm in the market for a new rocking chair or comfy recliner (that isn't *** massive and fluffy as ***) that's reasonably priced and ... um ... cheap :p
Well they aren't flip-flops, Jet. ^^ One pair has white braided faux leather straps with metallic strips braided in for sheen and shine. The other pair is this, except with black fabric instead of orange chevron:
And both pair are really comfy! And pretty. It's nice to feel like your feet are looking pretty. :-)
Oh, and they both have backs of course, so when I walk there's no flip-flop slapping noise. :D Delightful!

I know the difference, and still think it's silly to pay that much for half a shoe.
