It is, but once you master it and beat it feels so good :<

Then you hate it even more because BRD never drops ._.

I have a problem. While I spent less than last year. I go waaaaaayyyy overboard. Jacky purchased maybe 8 presents for me. Meanwhile I have over 30 stacked in the closet. Some of it is for me though! EDIT: Just about 40 my bad..

That is right I am a douche and self gift. If it is something I want to buy myself around this time of the year I buy it and then wrap it and wait. Case in point I bought Beyond and the Last of us with Jacky and she thinks I am a weirdo for not playing them and wrapping them up when we know what they are.

Frankly, even things I buy for myself and gift myself I know she will be using so it is not really "mine".

:o I buy myself those romantic boxes of chocolates all the time because I need chocolates. No you don't understand, I NEED them! And I set myself an allowance out of my paychecks, so if I want something, I save up my "allowance" until I can buy it.

But to make sure our gifts to each other are balanced, my husband and I decide on a price limit every year. It can change year to year depending on how we are doing, but we set ourselves a limit and then we can spend that much on each other's presents.

oh, it will. Turn 2 sure felt really good once we beat it.

We're having problem clearing the first Dreadnaught fast enough.

I shaved my beard off without realizing what I was doing. Then I yelled in the mirror at myself for doing so. I made him cry. >:D

:-( I haven't even beat easy-mode Titan yet.

All goes well on the first jump-bounce. I run to the edge of the circle, all is well.

Things go ~ok for the first "push you off the edge" move, I usually get out of the way in time.

Things typically go all right on the second jump-bounce. I can't get all the way out of the circle or I'll fall out, but I get close to the edge and it's ok.

And then, well, crap hits the fan. We kill the heart, whatever. I get trapped in a rock, that's nice. I get out of the rock and panic immediately because the tank has less than 50% hp. I can't handle tanks that are not at full health! OCD! I start to cure, the "push you off the edge" move pops up, I try to run, I get turned around, I don't get out of the way, I get pushed off the edge, and when the healer is dead at the bottom of the canyon it's not so amusing for the rest of the team. 12 times in a row.

I seriously just cannot heal this fight. I can do the healing part fine, it's the running all over the place part that is hard. Especially since for the past 8 years of FFXI I have been in the habit of having my camera turned the way I want to run, and then when I run, I run that way. But now I turn my camera in the direction I might want to run, then when I try to run that way, I go the way that Liela is facing instead of the way the camera is facing. It's the most awkward thing. Can't. Move! Can't move! Can't get myself faced in the right direction and go fast enough. Even if I interrupt the cast do it.

So I went to my settings to see if I could get it set to whatever I had it on FFXI and I can't handle that either because every time I fix one thing I manage to find new and amusing ways to break other things. What the what.

How do you even move in this game.

You can make it so your movement follows the camera instead of the character, or at least i can since i play with controller. Don't know if you can on kb/mouse

I had that problem on ranger the first few times until I found taking the lock off fixed my issue.

Use Legacy Type movement settings, Liela. Character Configuration menu -> Control Settings -> General tab and set to Legacy.

I have it set up to not lock on when I start a battle, too much can go wrong with having the game taking over my camera, making me run a different direction suddenly. It's much better leaving the control to me if I wish to be locked on, something I learned from dark souls I suppose.

Also set your camera controls to legacy instead of the other one, it's much more natural feeling.

I'll try the non-locking-on and the Legacy thing. Thanks guys <3

Edit: I'm also going to try leveling a melee job. Lancer, I think. At least up to 15. Not because I care about lancer, but because it will get me more used to being forced to run around. I'm not getting any practice on whm, I make sure I'm out of red circles and then stay still the whole time. Leveling a melee will force me to have to get used to moving. It can't hurt, right?

So tomorrow I don't have to show up at school because the term's over, but I'm going to be there for the next two weeks, anyway.

Dammit. I'm going to be one of those teachers who cares for his students. Son of a ***.
