Posted this on my Tumblr, as a random movie idea, lol.

"It’s Thanksgiving, and everyone has given their thanks and eaten their Turkey. The Meals were tasty and hearty, family conversations and activities going swell, all the love accompanied inside the sweet warmth of their homes.

Unfortunately, there are people all over the nation have other plans- to wait outside their local malls and department stores that decided to open up for Black Friday, with mobs of customers waiting to rush inside.

The Clock strikes 6:00 PM. The doors open to all the overwhelming crowds just chomping at the bit to get in and grab the best deals they could find. How could they possibly resist any longer?

Moments later, all the doors and gates suddenly close, locked and somehow unbreakable. A nation-wide blackout follows. Everyone panics, leaving the stores darkened, trapped within the confines of the consumer outlets. From the outside, hordes of first responders and civilians rush to break open the front gates and doors from all places. However, they notice how pitch black it is inside the outlets, unable to see whatever might be happening inside. Flashlights show only empty voids…there was no sound emitting from the stores. Any attempts to contact the customers and staff from the outside are met with interference or lost signals. Try as they might, all these department stores are suddenly unable to be broken through, as if guarded by an ethereal force. All Telecommunications and Internet signals are cut off as all the time zones slowly experience the same blackout.

Meanwhile, inside all of these stores, a frightening screech echoes throughout the entire space, embacing the crowd in a deafening silence of terror. What happens is unspeakable, and quite impossible to explain:

People start dying.

Security cameras transform into mounted Turrets at Target and Best Buy, gunning the customers, police officers and employees down. Blackened wraithlike beings materialize out of nothing at Walmart and Sears, committing acts of violence on the innocent, even so far as to decapitate, mangle, or disembowel certain individuals. At Toys R Us, Old Navy & ***’s Sporting Goods, terror-inducing gasses emit from the ceiling and throw people into hallucinations plagued with evil. Inside of Macy’s and J.C. Penney, unfathomable indoor Storms blast through the crowds at speeds akin to tornadoes, throwing the helpless off their feet, some victims hanging on for dear life. Death Squads of demonic nature, dressed much like military riot squads, rush the closed-in shopping malls and unleash pure brutality. The chaos erupts into levels unimaginable on a day like this- it’s every man, woman, youngster, and family for themselves at this point.

What in god’s earth is happening that something of his hellish nature would ever manifest itself? Who will survive this unexplainable onslaught?

This is… Black Friday."
