I've pretty much given up hope on trying to catch up on XI (if I ever subbed again)

Aside from a better enmity set and a Yagrush, the healer side of my WHM is at near optimal(FC set missing Meeble neck onry, missing Iaso hat), and hearing that just makes me think this game isn't even worth playing anymore.

Call it jelly, butthurt or w/e, but at this rate, staying at a returner's/newb LS and helping them better themselves is more fulfilling than compete with those people.

You're better off not going with them. Too many people with too high of standards for some situations these days for my liking. Maybe thats one reason why I quit (again)...

A good WHM doesn't need a Yagrush. Keep your chin up, someone will find that your skills outweigh having a piece of shiny armor.

Also: If they feel that their healers NEED a Yagrush to do their jobs properly, what does that say about the rest of them..?
The group was made by a few elite LS in Asura, half JP half NA/EU, claims were they have 8-10 Mythics in shell and they are the first group ever to do all boss 5+1.

Yagrush does expand your capability of being better, strats have limits and there are times I wish I own one, but I have no idea it is now a must have, I guess I am at the back of the bus now, lol.

It's not a must have. A good WHM can do their job just fine without one. Most people think that "Having a Yagrush makes you top tier". It really doesn't. It just allows you to AoE some -na spells. If that's considered game breaking at this point, then these "elite" are just fooling themselves.

I'm not saying that it sucks, hell I wanted one really bad on my WHM. What I'm saying is people thinking that it's a PIVOTAL part of playing WHM are delusional. The job can be played fine without it, and has been proven over and over again. It's something that should be strived for, not something that's required.
