In phase 4 you should get the Heavy Iron Armor at 35 Mag, it makes quite a big difference compared to the lighter tank sets :O

Is that the gear you get through the GC?

You can buy the Heavy Iron from an NPC (near Camp Bronze Lake I think). The body is 8k. Not sure what you can get from GC in terms of heavy tank gear

It's not very good... The stronger set is the one that looks like this

But even the light tanking gear (the one lnc can use as well) can pull ahead if you are looking at green/pink vs npc/pink. SE doesn't include the feet/head when doing the gear comparison so you need to manually work out if the heavy armour will be better than other gear but if they are the same level/quality the heavy armour will fall behind usually.

yea having sentinal set on any DD job helped a ***ton in 1.0 doing fights/primals
