I don't see the problem with it, but maybe that's because I'm waiting until we know more about how it's obtained.
Besides, it's not like Dragoons have never used swords in previous FFs.

I don't see the problem with it either but lots of others apparently don't like it. If they change the Buster Sword to say... Venus Gospel instead, I think they'll be okay with it. Can keep the animation similar or the same.

Either way, it looks cool but Buster Sword + Omnislash - FFVII = fanservice in a non-pantsu sort of way.

Kain had access to them, but they weren't his main weapon. Oddly, if you hack in Cecil's DRK swords into the Sequel, Dark Kain can equip them. I'm guessing Dark Kain is just DRK Cecil edited or something.

Ugh. Took a quiz today online for my econ class. The professor has a cool system where you can take each quiz twice and both times it is the same questions so you can look up what you goofed on and get a better grade. Just took a quiz my second time and because I was rushing through like an idiot I got questions wrong on the second try that I had gotten correct on the first try -_-

Dissidia/012 were that kind of fanservice, too, and they were fun as hell.

FFTA / A2 had many of the Dragoon's key abilities learnt from swords. The Buster Sword in particular taught them Wyrmtamer.

Someone didn't see Terra Branford's pantsu~ anyway, you're right, though Dissidia was fanservice for the sake of fan service. Guess there's nothing wrong with easter eggs and references seeing as how my beloved FFIX revolved around them. The SS posted earlier kinda makes me doubt that the "DRK armor" is DRK at all, looks like an evil DRG.

The boys aren't going through with their plan to give CCL the cold shoulder until she changes. I'm not sure if it's because I said no and it wouldn't work without a united front against her, or if they just realized it's a really dickish thing to do, but either way, whew.

We have two people with severe autism working there. Today one of them hid in the bathroom for nearly an hour (over 50 minutes,) then when the bosses started bellowing at him to come out, he waited til the coast was clear, bolted out the front door, and took off down the road.

One of the boys hates the beeping at the testing center. (it doesn't beep all day, just when someone's testing something. The beeps communicate to us about the product we're testing, it's a little bit necessary.) So now whenever no one is at the tester, he runs over there and turns the volume so far down that the tester can barely hear it. So every time someone needs to test something, we have to turn it up. Now this would be only a very small annoyance, except that to change the volume we actually have to get a special tool to insert into the volume button and hand-crank it up or down. So when it needs turned up every single time just because one guy is a pansy about beeps, and we have to track down the tool and hand-crank it every single time, it has a tendency to get old. He had just gone on lunch break today when I started testing, or I would have bitten his head clean off. xD

Then the boss showed me how to make something instead of tracking down the SOP for it, I started making it, I get halfway done and one of the other guys tells me I'm doin' it wrong because I have to cross the wires, I waste over ten minutes tracking down the stupid SOP to confirm that the wires are to be crossed, only to find out that the boss was right and the other guy was wrong and I was doin' it right all along.

I need to start writing short stories and selling them to make money so I can stay home. Being around people all day, even people I don't dislike, stresses me out.
