I had to read up on it and watch videos on how to do it. I can do a decent job but since these are work pants, I wanted to do a better than ok job on them.
After reading up on this, I was thinking I should know some more sewing on stuff. I did do leather with thread lock needles but that was do things like a sheath for a junk knife.

They taught us to knit here for a short while in school when I was younger. I knitted a mint green cat back in the day. I've forgotten completely how to do it since it was only for 2-3 months,20 years ago.

We have our candles and matches to light them with all stored together at the power breaker in case it goes off. I've also got a baseball bat for the same situation >_>

I always think of Eddie Vedder and those pants he had the crotch duct taped. I believe they are still in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame for Pearl Jam and Grunge.

I have it DvRed. Teh big baby is asleep, and I promised I wouldn't get ahead of him like I did with 'Hannibal'. I'm tinkering with the idea though. I just might watch it if I don't fall asleep relatively soon.

I have the emergency kit built, but I wanted the flash light to be next to me in case the lights do go out.
I always keep a milk crate in my car as my emergency boating, fishing, accident, camping and for whatever kit. MREs, band aids and other kits in case I ever get stranded or the unknown.
They recommend some sort of standard fare kit here for all cars. I know only 2 people that carry them. Both my uncles. If I ever have to learn how to drive a car,I'd have one. And eventually if I get my life in order and have my own proper place,I'll get around to having everything setup properly.
