Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Do schools not have bomb shelters in the US? My old school did and I think there's even one in this apartment building.
We're America, we bomb people BEFORE they bomb us.
Well I just became a sad panda. :<
Despite Uris jokes.. I'm just 10 miles south of Moore and it looks nasty. :( a lot got destroyed. My family lives and Moore and thankfully got away and their house is still standing but only by a few blocks.
But yeah sad weekend here. I'm out of commission on cable and net for a few days. Bismarck.Dracondria said: » Do schools not have bomb shelters in the US? That and our continent does not suffer from major wars, twice in the same century. >_>;

I'd just do this YouTube Video Placeholder (this was also recorded from an irish channel :O can tell by the logo) Go to closest ares with fewest windows. Cover back of neck.
That's it. :| The high schools in the area have renovated bomb shelters though. One's a padded room they use for wrestling now. I don't want Uri and Az to mysteriously be whisked off to the land of Oz! >: There's an air-raid shelter in the basement here I'm pretty sure. It looks like the one in my old school, which had this super thick metal door as well

Heard of other tornadoes on the ground, so just hoping everything turns out for the best. I know there has already been a lot of destruction <.>; so I hope all that live near there are safe!
I couldn't imagine a Tornado like that hitting my high school. Sad thing is, we have a giant 'open area' for the lockers, and quite a few of the classes are along one long corridor, so a "Wind Tunnel" would be an understatement. I remember 10 years ago they had us in the hallways of that long corridor (theres no windows, but the cafeteria at the end was full of windows and the open area was on the other side.

Here in Tulsa it isn't even raining yet, but it looks eerie, a tornado has popped up in Meeker county, heading towards Pauls Valley. I'm just happy I'm not in Dallas anymore. After last week's here, my friend and her husband in Cleburne who own a moving company volunteered to help pull the remaining belongings of some families' out of the rubble, and move it into storage for the victims. I wish I could have gone. I'm chained to a three-month-old, so what are you going to do? /shrug |
