See at a distance nothing is faster than Crossbow though, only way to win that is strong sorcery really and enough poise to punish the crossbow user with it
But up close remember I can't even use my weapon with one hand, too low level so that and my nonexistent poise are us low level invader's weaknesses. That's why I try not to attack unless I know you can't power through it on me

damn Mastop is taking forever to kill.. 55% atm and been fighting it for an hour or so
You guys talking about being bored/disinterested with FFXI has made me realize I'm already bored/disinterested with it, even though I just recently reactivated.
Most people I was having fun with before aren't on lately. I've played entirely solo since I got back. I've pretty much just been killing time while waiting to find out if I was accepted for XIV Beta.
I should really just find something else to do in the meantime. I saw mention of Ragnarok Online 2 while checking the thread yesterday. And I also have LoL, I just haven't done anything outside of the tutorials.
I'd like to be playing something where I can at least have people to talk to that I'm already somewhat familiar with. I'm too old to be making new friends!

last time i got invaded i was killing the black knight for the GS and he knocked both me and the knight off the edge... ;/
