Okay... It's been so long since I've had to do it... (Make that "never" with the SE Account system.) I purchased the new XI expansion (actually, the whole collection thing that Yomi posted, but still)... Now where do I enter the registration code to activate the new content?

Click on services, FFXI, then there should be a button to purchase additional services, this will take you to a screen where you can enter the codes.

Thanks. I figured it out right around the time you posted, too. That button seems more like it'd be for a totally different purpose, but figured I'd try clicking it anyway.
Now... To decide if I want to reactivate my account anytime soon.

Just drag your friends to Bismarck! Leon and I made the Shiva > Bismarck transition; you can too! I'm surprised Vyre hasn't already posted in an attempt to convince me that I need to reactivate tonight.

When you hit 0 Crysta does SE automatically switch over to your credit card on file? Last time I put in Crysta (for mog bonanza) I made sure that I would end up with exactly 0 Crysta and then let my accounts die after I collected my Mog Missiles. Thought I was all done with FFXI when I see my $14.95 charge from SE on my bank statement, and log into SE membership page to see all my ID's active until next month. I didn't even realize I had a credit card on file with them since I had been paying for Crysta since the changeover via paypal.
Maybe they're worn out like me. I'm mostly awake just because of the fact that I have to work until midnight the next couple of days. I'm trying to be sure my body adjusts at least a little so I can sleep in, so I won't be ready to fall asleep before I'm halfway through my shift.

I have no idea... Mostly because every time I try to change my payment method from C&B to my regular card, it gives me an error. I always just make sure I cancel my IDs when I decide I'm going to take a break.
8 years on Shivaeating peanut butter and jelly and already switching once recently after trying some bad tacos says no.

But yeah, I couldn't really justify moving again, either. I'd probably just play for a month or so before I deactivated again.
I'm really just waiting for FFXIV now, anyway. I should try signing up for the beta and see if I get accepted.
The biggest thing is getting friends to move as well because it may start as a few close friends but we're all connected through this huge network into essentially the roots of Shiva... kinda hard to uproot that. XP
Besides, half the people I saw switch to Bismarck on here barely post anymore or have quit and like you are waiting for FFXIV. XP

I don't blame you. I just never really had any friends on Shiva. The Alexander <> Shiva merge made it nearly impossible to keep in contact with my old LS, since the merge broke the shells and name changes, etc. caused issues.
That, and I wasn't as close with that LS as I was with my original LS, up until they all stopped playing. (Not to mention, a bad memory or two.) My only friend left from Alexander/Shiva is someone who always did her own thing with her own LS anyway, so we can keep in touch on Facebook just as easily as we did in-game.

I used to see Nikolce idling in Sandy [S] a lot, the last time I played before making my transfer, but I never spoke with him. I think that's also before I started posting here, so I recognized him from his posts, but he'd have had no idea who I was.
I doubt I'll ever spend the money for another server transfer, but who knows. Or we'll get lucky with a server merge and Shivmarck can become a reality!
I was considering it... But I've never done it so I'd probably screw something up.
But I do, at least, have it installed on two PCs. So if I screw up one, I can just copy the not-screwed-up version back over from one to the other.
