Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I need to start wearing tinfoil on my head, because Liels just dug into my brain and scooped out the exact thing I was thinking.

I think you'll just have to have a straight talk with her about how the internet is a different culture, and though she does dote over you, you'd much prefer keeping your relationship in the real world. Comments and messages here and there are fine, but she's being clingy. Obviously you know her better than I, and if that will work or not, but being straight and up-front has never failed me.

My brother's gf posted on Easter "Hoppy Easter" and that she couldn't wait for them to get to their "loved one's" house. My mom, and I swear to god this is 100% serious, thought the girl meant they were going out to see her because Mom says "Hoppy Easter" too. The ENTIRE reason she thought they'd go to see her was that.

Turns out, they were going to the girl's family's for dinner. Mom totally lost her ***, called me absolutely bawling because only 1/3 of her kids wants anything to do with her and that kid is too far away to see (that would be me, thankfully living over 800 miles away). Never in my life did we ever do something for Easter. We never had family events at all. Part of the reason the gf's family always gathers for Easter is because a few years ago, her father, aunt, a few cousins and iirc an uncle were murdered on Easter weekend. They all get together as sort of a family bonding/remembrance time.

Told Mom about that reason, she STILL got pissed about them not going to see her, and then begged me not to hate her or keep my baby from her -_-

I can give no advice... but I can say if my mother starts that ***with me anytime in the future I'm ignoring her. >.>

I'm just ranting. She's *** insane and always has been. Never tried to be a mom but now that all her kids are adults, she tries to be friends to us like we're 8. If you ignore her or don't call her at least every other day, she loses her ***and wigs out on Dad, who in no way at all needs or deserves it, so we oblige ><

If I ever get to that point of absolute bat ***crazy, Ovr is completely ***.

That's the same reason any of my siblings put up with my stepmother. :-( My dad won't leave her, and if we tick her off he's the one who gets punished for it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to tell her I don't want anyone here when we have the baby.

I really understand that she's so far away and wants to be here. He will technically be her first grandchild (Dad has a kid/grandkids in Cali but they aren't by my mom). Ovr's mom gets to be here with us and see him as much as she wants (even though she hardly will) so she's all kinds of jealous on top of already hating his mom with a passion. Honestly though, I don't want ANYONE around us for a while, at the least a week. I'd like some time with my baby, but I know if I tell her that, she'll lose her ***. She plans to be here for his birth since we get to schedule it, but I don't want that and have no clue how to say it w/o like... shattering her soul.

Birthday breakfast or birthday supper?! Ovr will only be awake for one of the two and demands that I pick. Idk which or where to go though!
