We totally should. I haven't fished in ages. Last time I did it... it was in the Atlantic Ocean.

I haven't fished since... oh dear since at least Sophmore year of highschool I think. Dad was the only one I ever really went fishing with and I never showed much joy for it so yea. XP It's odd for me to actually say I wanna go fishing.

The beginning of my posting doesn't go back nearly as far as my lurking, but since we're talking about or "first times" and all...

I first posted here one night after going out to a bar with a female friend (which is odd, since bars are something I don't really do, either).

I'm pretty sure Vyre was the first person to end up saying anything to me. And I responded to Spath saying something about thinking he was "friend zoned" by a girl, and him getting a bit irritated by it. I felt bad.

Getting noticed in here seemed like it was a bit hard to do at first, but then you realize over a year later, it still happens, because that's just how this thread operates from time to time. Sometimes you post at the wrong time, during an already-going conversation, and you just suck it up and join in from there.

My first real conversation was with Mag, kind of late at night. We talked about MST3k. And I believe Schutz joined in.

I also recall being on the wrong side of a "pop" vs. "soda" debate with Uri and Jet (possibly Flavin, too). But I let it go (whoever can't get over something as minor as "pop vs. soda" has issues) and found out that they're perfectly alright guys, too.

There are more, but those are the early ones that stand out in my mind.

Did I get mad? o.o If I did I can assure you it was not at you and if anything was more at myself.

I wouldn't blame you, anyway. I probably tried to make light of it or something when it was still a sensitive issue and just made it worse. Wouldn't be the first time I've done something like that.

Honestly, it's not so much that I remember it for being a bad first experience dealing with you. Just that I remember my first experience talking to you and I happen to remember what it was about.

It kind of makes sense that Mag was the first poster I really related to. Besides him being a fan of MST3k, we are also close in age and all that other stuff.

My aunts call it Pop, because they lived in the northern states their whole lives. My first reaction is always, "Dafuq are you talking about." Then it clicks in my brain, "Soda Pop." Then I say that I would, and I drink them out of house and home.
