And the entire conversation started about how I fail to understand arrogance and why anyone would keep it up. ^^; Which kinda follows along what you just said... Of course there was always room for discussion.

I would never choose to be arrogant if I'm aware of it or being told by others how I'm making them feel. (And many people are aware, but still choose to proceed in that manner.)

the news is full of stories about negative health impacts of this and that, and the rise of basically every health risk in america. yet most people continue doing the same self destructive behavior. arrogance en masse.

All of them.

at that point you're dealing with severe ignorance more than arrogance =P.

I've always thought of yours as a "tongue-in-cheek" type. You and I go into our existential, celestial-child mode more than we should on here, LoL, and vent.

i think the same point still stands ._. people are that arrogant. it's an argument of quality of life. i've met plenty of people who were told to stop drinking/smoking/unhealthy lifestyle and didn't. the fact is that most of the stuff is common knowledge. you don't need a doctor to tell you that drinking kills your liver. most people just don't care... at least until it's too late. is it better to never have a smoke, drink, or fat *** ribeye with a loaded potato stuffed with extra cheese and live till you're 100? personally i think life after a certain age seems kinda sucky. i don't want that. i'd rather die at 60 knowing i enjoyed 20-60 a lot more than i would probably enjoy 60-100. plus, you're not guaranteed any of that.


that being said i do exercise and such because i do want to enjoy the life i'm here for, but i probably do live a "medically risky lifestyle". i also have a pot of hot fresh brewed green tea. stuff is really good for you.

Haha, I'm actually a Pre-PA student as well. While grad school is clearly the only decent choice for psychology, I actually decided to move towards a different path. :) I apply to Physician's Assistant programs next spring.

Nearly a week now. If only I could show you the view I just woke up to and the view from this apartment. Paradise.

nah. she's with someone. i think she might be in the mood for a change though. i can't tell if she just likes attention, or if she's bored with her current relationship. usually if i can't tell, i stop caring ._. she's really hot, but i'm not chasing her.

my point being. i don't care what the sign i says. i want to go to there;
