(It's the same pug, it should get the same amount of [+]...) :p Eikechi: LOL the last time I duo'ed Glavoid with a friend of mine, and we got in trouble, it was stolen by someone on my flist. ;_; They were just hovering over us the whole time waiting for a chance for the name to go yellow, then later said in /t "Oh sorry, I didn't know it was you..." So it could always be worse, maybe. :p yeah well..yeah well..yeah...some of us have a full time job and can't keep up with every gif posted on the internets Asura.Schizm said: » About the rage on poor attitude people playing FF XI, for years I just solo'd knowing that I will one day not being able to advance. Never got into end game stuff and was just making ground on most relics and getting chunks of my AF3 done by getting high fame in aby-ville and getting quests done. Eventually all the shouts started to look the same and everyday just felt bleh after having Abys corrupt my adventurous soul. I miss the old days when the struggles and accomplishments really shined and being level 75 was worth praising. I wanted to stick around till SoA came around but really now, I don't miss it especially after the people I came across in FF XI. Aye the FFXI community has become very corrosive but that is not the majority. Just have to find your self a small nitch of players you feel good with and do things together. I think XI has one of the better mmo communities out there. /shrug
Put them clawz away, gurl.

If anything, they've helped those people out. But SE can't be the ones who take the blame for those who are *** to their fellow adventurers. ![]() I just spent like 2 hours making my own cat into a .gif to respond with which are much harder to make than I remember Cerberus.Pleebo said: » I think XI has one of the better mmo communities out there. /shrug I agree, I play this game almost fully on social aspect. But if you spend your play time mainly in shout pugs more often than not going to get a jack-off in em. I do not mind a couple idiots here and there I just ignore em for most part. Just stay here on the forums where it is safe lol. Birches be cray.

For over a year, I strictly did farming and leveling up most of my crafts while soloing. Because I leveled my mage jobs during the old school days and was a taru, I learned to be very cautious in planning my fights. The one advantage I did see with the changes in XP, no one cared as much if they died. When I used to solo, if I died, I lost over three hours of work so it was frustrating. I leveled old school smn
after toau came out..so I guess that won't exactly old school old school but I did it using the old school method as I leveled 1-75 90% solo..on bombs.... like garlaige citadel basement bombs and ifrits cauldron bombs. I dinged 75 at the top of Ule. Range on bombs! it was not an easy life... I only remember duoing once and being in a party once or twice...usually I just logged in and solo'd for an hour and then logged off and went to class. It took me like 2 years to do. best part was exp chaining by yourself <3 now I did level rdm in ye old early days..took me also 2 years to level rdm to 75. I was forced to take like a 6mo break there because of having to move..but dude, if you leveled up a single level in a couple of days you were moving fast. Kujata.Daus said: » I leveled old school smn Not oldschool really, but I miss soloing imps for merits on BLU. Could go faster than a lot of actual merit parties most of the time, was fun.
You do not, by any means, have to ever step foot into abyssea to level up though. Of course GRINDING is going to get to you after awhile. Otherwise it wouldn't be a grind. But it's up to the player to let aby "ruin" it for them. All of this happened at 75 without the help of abyssea. Things like mana burns and even closer to what aby is, SMN burns. Honestly, not much has changed.
I miss FFXI at 75 cap sometimes as well. I had my fair share of leveling at 75 cap(maat's cap before aby!), lol. But that's not all I did, the game would have died for me a long time ago if it was. Maybe that's why you feel the way you do. /shrug Valefor.Prothescar said: » Not oldschool really, but I miss soloing imps for merits on BLU. I solo'd imps on smn as well...namely while waiting for einherjar, I'd run out and kill the imps nearby..garuda was quick to kill them for easy exp.
