Meh, no use in not enjoying yourself before you go. The getting laid part was more of a joke, even if a little bit true. You asking her out is just showing you're interested, will probably make her feel good and you get to have some fun before leaving. Sounds win/win. :o

Do it anyways.
I had a friend who was asked out, two days before going out of the country. They met up both nights and talked about meeting up when she got back.

Agreed. If you're thinking about her that much, you could be laying a foundation for something when you get back.

Even if you don't get down and dirty, it's always nice to get foot loose and fancy free with the opposite sex if you genuinely enjoy the person's company.
