Sometimes Japan still blows my mind. I can buy canned coffee (it actually is pretty good) from a machine and it comes out hot. From the SAME MACHINE i can buy a nice cold can of juice or tea. Freaking blows my mind. On top of that half the machines have a slot machine type mechanism where after you purchase a drink it will roll some numbers, get 4 like numbers win a free drink. If you put in over 500 yen, it will hold onto the change in case you want to buy another drink, or pull the leaver and it will spit out the change.
Also, the damn things talk to you.....they can sense when you walk buy and will advertise when you do so.

Nope, but i have seen vending machines with cigs, alcoholic beverages, cards, and alot of other random things, even cars!
I swear I've seen pics of the machines, maybe they just don't have them anymore. Not something I'd put past them lol (inb4thasracistspoons)

Agreed. Probably going to watch it until the season finale and decide if I want to continue watching. :/ The first season was great, the second was ok, the 3rd.. eh if I miss a few I don't really care. lol

I thought the second half of season 2 was good. I don't know if it's because I have a good idea of what's going to happen, but I just find myself not very interested.

Another thing about Japan, i find it entertaining sometimes when I go walking around. I am a rather big person, 6'5'' tall and 245 LBS and in good shape. 90% of Japanese males come up to my chest and are half my size. As such when i go walking around they usually get out of my way. I do not try to be intimidating in any way, they just take one look at me and scootch on over to the side. I never have problems walking around even during the heavy commute time.
I mainly watch it for Rick anymore :x Sohot. I wish he used his real accent though xD Dat English accent
I am hoping within the next 2-5 years to make a plan to visit japan, gotta do some research and whatnot (wheelchair accessibility, learning some basic linguistic skills... etc... oh and save money rofl...)

Save money? That's a joke right? Even with the Dollar finally about the same worth as the Yen everything is expensive here. A dollar and 20 cents for a damn can of coffee or can of coke? But i will not deny it is a great learning experience.
Remember to climb Mt. Fuji if you can. If you don't climb it, legend says you are destined to return to Japan. Wise men climb it once, a fool climbs it twice.
I hope Mt. Fuji is wheelchair accessible, lol.
