Maybe allowing him to go to the further hospital (or no hospital at all as I suggested) is the best solution for this guy.

Hrmm... I dunno what's worse, physical abuse or emotional abuse.

I mean my dad never hit us when we didn't deserve it, but seeing as he is dead to all 3 of us from all the yelling and ***we had to put up with over the years none of us are exactly "emotionally healthy" people.

See I'd go with the first... The second.. I mean a kid is probably the more serious of the two but with the kid you don't have to be a part of his life as he/she isn't yours and you can walk away from the girl... STD is with you for life man...
