This may rustle some jimmies but Dissidia games really aren't good games. They're just fan service. Never understood some obsessions with getting them recognized as real competitive fighting games.
it might not be a good game, but it sure was a fun one.
remember playing against a few matches against spath, and after getting my *** kicked on most of them, It was bloody fun (surprisingly, my win was on an undeveloped chara with a lucky last shot lol).
CG on that game is simply SE quality, and the story was pretty decent.
Kinda reminded me of games like Powerstone or Ehrgeiz.
of course this game was completely build on fan service.... lol
Im actually quite interested in this Evil Dead movie, saw the original a few years back and was quite amused. a couple scenes on the youtube video made me shiver a bit, so I'll take that as a good sign? Isn't Bruce Campbell sort of looking over the production of this film? I wanna see it! not alone I hope. :<
I'm trying to imagine right now, taking one month to brainstorm a brand new idea for a genuinely scary horror movie. It'd be near impossible these days yeah lol
Ooh, a challenge! For something to be genuinely scary, it has to be realistic. So 5-foot tall spiders, zombies, and all that good stuff are out. It has to be something that is frightening to every person, not just cliques of people. So things like clowns and sharks are out. And it can't be something that's been done several times already, so things like innocent-looking girls in pigtails who are actually murderers are out.
Maybe something like a friend the main character has known for awhile and trusts is the villain. I think most, if not all, people are disturbed when trust is betrayed, and having trust betrayed happens all the time so it's realistic. If the main character knows the villain, likes them, deeply trusts them, and then the villain turns on them in a dangerous way (like killing them or taking them to someone who will kill them, etc) that would be scary. It would also let the audience get to know the villain and get inside his/her head, which could be fun. OOH! You could even have the main character go on a story arch that has him/her turn and also become a villain! That would be disturbing for the audience, to see a "good" person's gradual turn into a "bad" person.
Anyways. I don't know, too many people see too many different things as scary, and most of those things aren't realistic. ;; Good luck!

I don't know, alot of horror just seems like they try for visual gore.
You want to see that, watch a surgery video of an open heart surgery or someone getting their leg amputated. Sooner or later the visual horror films are going to go alittle far and I do think it gives people bad ideas, reason why if I go camping I make sure if any nut runs around with a gun, I'll shoot first.

YES! Can you prove that to hollywood? Look at john carpenter's version of The Thing,little to no gore and its still probably the best horror movie going.Psychological horror ftw

Im an achievement *** on the xbox,but ps3 games/trophies hold little to no worth for me so meh,but this does its that good!Only one game before this had that value for me on ps3! And that was my first platinum :3

Although mine lagged up a small bit when I was downloading dawnguard,little after it started a CS update was added,which lagged it up a bit.I got a chuckle a few seconds later when the bottleneck worked out and I saw the peak download speed xD
Also check the filename,is all I could think of at the time lol
