and if u returned ur relic weapon, then you get ur time back. sure.
but most likely you wouldn't have gone and put forth the effort to get an large sum of gil for the relic weapon. therefore you'd most likely gotten nearly everything for your job(s) needed. gotten bored, and quit.

almost anything can happen in what if land since just changing one choice will flip the script entirely after a certain point.
