Abyssea Proc Resetting

I Have read here and there about people trying to low man things and having to reset the mob to get a new proc if they couldnt find it. But never how its done, do you just have to have the mob unclaim for it to reset, or does it have to unaggro and become passive again to gain a new spell/WS for a !! trigger? Thank you in advance.

You have to idle it (passive, etc). The best way to do this is to conflux your party multiple times until it idles.

You have to wait for it to go back to passive stance. The second it does that, triggers wear off and change. Even if it has a DoT on it, if it goes passive triggers are gone and changed.
