Ok, at first, I thought $300 bucks was way too much for a portable system. Then I read that it has a battery life of 3-5 hours. Was neutral about it til I saw
After watching it, I thought "wow, it's like a portable Wii with the added AR card (which is actually quite interesting and intriguing).
Today, browsing kotaku, I come across this:

3D TV on my 3DS? (Even if it's only one channel).
So let me get this straight:
3DS advantages are -
* 3D camera
* Ability to control how much 3D there is
* AR cards that you can play 3D video camera games
* Miis that you can share with others just by walking past them
* 3D TV streaming to my 3DS
while disadvantages are -
* 3-5 hours of battery life
* $300 (which right now, this should be in the advantages area with all the cool stuff the 3DS has to offer, 300 bucks is too cheap imo)
* Region Locked
(can't think of any more right now with the given information)
I personally am more excited about the 3DS than I was earlier this year. What about you guys?
