Can't wait.
The battle system looks very kingdom heartsy which makes me happy : ) The only thing that worrys me is when they were useing the cannons and mechs... normally goes one of 2 ways with that either it's too powerful or you never really get a chance to use it beyond once or twice in specific areas... like in 13 with hope in the junkyard, its just like yeh that was interesting but was there really a purpose?

I must be the only one who doesn't like these type of games. Graphics look great, but not my style of gameplay.
Only Hack-n-Slashes I like are fantasy-like ones, like KH. I can't play God of War or Dynasty Warriors. This one looks more interesting.

Yes I know, but they said a while ago that the KH1-2 team was currently working on Versus. KH3D is not being done by the main KH team. Might have to get a 3DS eventually since megaman legends 3 is on 3DS too ; ;
I thought i read somewhere that the continuation into kingdom hearts would depend on how well this game does.

That would be the biggest kick in the nuts ever. They know DAMN WELL a large amount of people are waiting for KH3 and want these stupid *** spin-offs on handhelds to end.
haha yeh I don't mind a spin off game (played the ps2 version of chain of memorys and I really liked it) but this whole 3 seprate hand held platforms thing is a bit of a piss off to me...

TBH im not too worried... looking at the gameplay video verses looks almost identical to KH's battle system... saw magic, summon some kind of art thing + the main character warping around looked like it could be some kind of reaction command...
One question i need to put out there though... towards the end it shows some chick in purple looking to face off with the main character, did anyone else look at her and think Hrist valkyrie in the first few seconds before you get a good look and can see her hair is blond? XD

***! Why?! WHY?! The Divine is truly a cruel one. I was so looking forward to another installment on a CONSOLE... I won't be getting a god damn 3DS just for this...
I do not like the looks of it. Hopefully it surprises me and I enjoy it. They're trying to change the series too much and so far they've only started ruining it :/
It's more of a spin-off rather than the next installment. This isn't FFXV. It's about time they start branching out. The whole Menu -> Attack (90% of commands) / Magic / Summon and repeat thing got boring fast.

Versus only looks as though it will be in the same universe as for same time line it looks totally off. FFXIII seems futuristic where as Versus looks more modern so storyline will probably intersect in the storyline of ffxiii because they are on the same plane at some point. but it wont be a sequel. also the gameplay looks to be very similar a dynasty warriors type of hack and slash which i think will cause it to be an action based game with a FF type storyline also some epic boss fights i imagine similar to those of demon souls. it will be like dirge of cerberus with a sword and free aiming rather than a gun and locked targeting.

My video is slightly different lol, it shows off some more gameplay, but you know what square is like with remaking trailers and adding a tiny bit more content lol.
