How accurate are the weather reporters?

For example, if the weather reporter for Qufim Island doesn't mention Aurora/Stellar Glare in the forecast for today, tomorrow, and the next day, does that mean there's a 0% chance for light weather for those 3 days?

As in real life, the weather reporters are not 100% accurate, however, they can give you a good rough estimate/basis to go by. I recall camping Kretzeut and having the weather NPC being a few days off on the windstorm prediction.
