NIN and PLD still bein used, but everythng that can realistically be killed, a MNK is the tank.
Inside Abyssea, main goal on Nms is not stellar dmg. It's to hold the *** until you proc, then you kill. BLU feeding TP with its stellar dmg is not advisable. Low man situation, a MNK does do better when duo with a WHM, its just how it is. In terms of OVERALL USEFULNESS a blu is better. You can't heal on mnk, you can't dispel, you can't proc grellow with more than 1 spell if specific sub, you can't provide the usefulness a blu can bring which is what this thread is started for.

Overall usefulness,
BLU has access to two high tier cures doing 500+ easily.
BLU can DD very well.
BLU can tank very well and limit dmg with stun procs.
Overall usefulness, think outside of niche situations...
*** yeah, BLU can totally main heal with that cure 4! You forget epic nuker and main healer in there too. Forgot to mention support job as well, I mean it just does everything the best.
OP was talking about overall usefulness, I know you are too busy feeling like you won and are so cool but listen k? If someone was to start this game today and try to decide a job, which would be the most useful for a LS ? Can you heal on mnk? no, can you nuke on mnk? no, can you provide what a BLU can to almost any situation? no

Yes because you can be two jobs at once. How about instead of being a tard you actually read? MNk won't be useful if they already have a tank which almost every ls does... Why toss more than one tank on a mob you are trying to proc ***on. Most useful would be BLU, don't kid yourself.

MNK and WHM are a combo. Draylo is trying to say BLU is best by means of it's versatility. I think.

Man BLU is procing, using all those DD spells, healing and curing itself. Where or where do you find all the points for these spells there Draylo?
EDIT: Oh, and don't forget set points for that dispel. BLU must have 100 set points suddenly or something. We have 60. :P

A complex question to say the least, simply because of what we can be talking about, dmg output, soloing, the necessity of having a healer, whats the mob etc...
But, if you had to decide which job would be the best to take to 90 (99, whatever), taking these things into account what would you say comes out with the most pros? For example consider a graph, a questionnaire of scale, 1 -10, one category is DMG output over speicified amount of time, one is the ability to Solo on a scale of 1 - 10 (which would most likely rest on the amount of mobs the job can take on as opposed to which can take on the least)
Of these categories, what job would you say comes out with the most points?
