I can see why people go onto competitions to lose weight, and honestly it takes a lot to go onto TV and say "I'm fat" because you're gonna have total...Asshats...i'll say, critisizing you for getting that way.

I'm 21(almost 22) and i'm 6'3 and 280lbs, but i used to be heavier, but, i havn't stopped playing FFXI or changed anything i done in the past, except my eating habits and gone out and walked more.

I would go on TV to lose weight, like what these two have, i only have a problem going on TV glorifying obeseness (anyone in Britian remember the program "Worlds fattest man"? stuff like that) being fat isn't something to be proud of, it's not an acheivement and it pisses me off to see people on TV being so brass proud about their weight and unhealthy life-style.

Unfortunatly i'm British so i probably can't watch it, however i wish you two luck in not only the competition but also losing weight \m/

The argument between starr & jet was decent. They got warning because people are used to hearing the N, your mother, etc etc. Since there wasn't any of that people got upset and they started to cry to the mods.

I've seen the word used so many times I'm not quite sure what the definition of an Internet Troll is.
Are they scary?

What is a Troll?

Trolling, in my opinion, is using intelligence and wit to make people show true and deep emotion on subjects that you really don't even care about. Some posters get scary and obsessive with you then though, like Flion.

1) grats to Narse and BYusdhsdnmfh for getting fit, and all the fun of being on TV :D

2) I played FFXI, obsessively even, since shortly after NA release, but it wasn't until I quit smoking dope, and took up somewhat heavy drinking instead, that I started to budge from the 5'10" / 160ish I had maintained effortlessly since high school. Don't blame the game, you can be a sedentary lump without becoming overweight.

3) Don't really understand what people who quit the game get out of cruising the FFXIAH forum and spewing self-righteous judgmental ***at people who still do play... congratulations, you escaped the clutches of the evil MMORPG, now you're just a full-time nasty forum ***? lol

I know what it's like myself (being VERY overweight, even though my height hides just how much). I've shed 20lbs in the past 3 months and am looking to continue my healthier lifestyle. I saw a commercial for it on mtv when i was watching teen mom yesterday

I laugh at how hateful people are. I have to admit when I first heard/saw the commercial my ears perked and I was like what? Then I was like they are going to probably do a big tifa,cloud or FFX wedding using Yuna's dress. Be funny/cool. And Yea go video gamers. I saw them and stereotypically not what I expected. They were a lot thinner then I stereotypically thought. But either way I didn't care. I heard how they met and thought awesome for them.

Now I stand everyone has their own opinions. Some people are ridiculously hateful. I /clap at anyone and everyone who notices something in their lives and tries to change it for the better to be healthier in life.

Um your willpower is 100% your fault. That's like saying yeah not my fault I keep getting fired I just can't help I'm lazy :). Your metabolism is partly under your control too. Enough that unless you have a real documented thyroid problem you can definitely do something about. Saying otherwise is just an excuse.

Hell I have a friend that has some kind of form of hyperthyrodism. His metabolism is very much against him. But you know what would happen if he used that or willpower as an excuse and keep the same diet or even increase it a little? He'd quite possible starve to death. So instead of just saying I can't he consumes like rediculous amounts of food. Which is kinda costly to say the least lol
