So thats about how you see it right?

Everyone seems to be convincing themselves that I am adamant about direct cause, confirmed links and other things that remain unknown.

For the last time: SP's propaganda and the tragedy stand on their own. They are isolated incidents, however, the shooting brings her poster into perspective due to the correlation of crosshairs being her symbol of choice in dictating her political opponents, and the fact that there was a shooting of one of those "targets".

Again, this is not saying the shooter followed Palin's propaganda, but rather putting into light that her rhetoric was risky and potentially dangerous, regardless of whether it was an indirect cause or not.
doesn't she put crosshairs on everything?
you bet'cha!

It would seem so. And when you use that kind of symbolism for "targeting" political opponents, it could have tragic consequences.
Not that it was for this incident, but still... It's reckless.

If Alex Jones is your only source of paranoia, then obviously he (Jones) is doing it right when Phyrexius (hopefully not Pawnskipper too) goes on a rampage.

but why does it matter if she's "targeting" everything?
seems like some over-sensitive ideology that's reaching.

you really think palin feels that she's accountable for the things she does or says?
ask our allies the north koreans.

i think being aware that she's reckless on one shore is discredited by the fact that she is reckless on many fronts :/

all banter is useless, unless you are somehow healing bullet wounds or reverting time with your words. :D

By definition alone all banter is useless, no one had defined the thread as banter though. My point is arguing about such meaningless ***around such a tragic event and really stretching to find blame or reasoning is not only stupid but also quite sad.

why is it stupid?
it could be sad for some people..but I don't feel all that sad, and I'm pretty sure a good deal of people on here don't either since this topic is happening.

wouldn't it be easier to just not give a dismissive post and let this sad sap train roll on?
not everyone has the same moral standards as you, and they shouldn't have to have it :/

should have just ended it there :P
tl:dr sum up please
sum what up? i know you can at least skim between a couple 5-7 sentence paragraphs silly :P tbh there was no real point in the linking, but I bet you could ascertain some sort of point or grain of wisdom from it.

Ok. I read. Retrospective falsifaction seems like a fancy word for a rumors that have gone bad or change with each telling. But I see how you can apply the application here. And ad populum fallacy is term that is new to me. But upon further reading, simply put..."you riding the bandwagon." lol. Wait a minute here....what is going on? lmao

If I ever ran in politics I'd make all my targets bananas on the map.

I'd laugh so hard if a nutjob killed people with a banana.

Perhaps I am over sensitive. But really, it's a matter of putting two and two together. Symbolism relating to weapons and using that in context for pointing out your opponents is pretty self explanatory.
I always thought and hoped a political figure, especially one of great influence and popularity would use some degree of self control and moderation and having some concept of empathy when it comes to the audience you appeal to.

She already denied and dropped all accountability/responsibility.

Sad but true. People look and see a young face with a nice rack and go for it more so than choices in policy and their voting consistency.
But to be fair, the same was said about Bill Clinton. Who knows how many votes he got from middle aged women for being a handsome devil?

Well, I can certainly see why there's at least some degree of credibility to conspiracy theorists that believe the government had some degree of involvement in 9/11.
But who knows? Could be a fluke too. The truth went down with all the lives that were lost, sadly.

I already noted earlier that my point in the Palin poster isn't confirmed as a direct link or cause to what happened. But simply something worth putting in perspective as irresponsible, reckless, and potentially dangerous.

what's sad is you think every person can be rolled up into 1 tiny little ball and write something down on it for you to put in your pocket, every time you pull that ball out of your pocket you remember what you defined that person as.. for me it's "moral" so every single time I post you can post back about how you think I am morally superior to others.

Guess what I wrote down for you Vinvv: Always pretending to be impartial while subtly being objective, always instigating and always trolling.

This was a sad tragic event, people died. That's really my only thoughts on it.

I thought the discussion was about conspiracy theorists' websites, youtube videos, radio shows, etc. versus credible information from say the AP or medical journals.

Once again: Unlike a journalist or historian, a conspiracy theorist starts out with an assumption, garners all information that supports their theory, and ignores or discredits information that disagrees with it.

but also just to illustrate the last point a bit more.. let us use a religious symbol. should Christians be ousted and the Bible denounced because in it there is talk of the death penalty for rape or more common, promiscuity? or how about denouncing Muslims for the Koran talking about Jihad? Neither is damming of the whole, but of the few crazies who take things out of context and have malice in their hearts. If you then take things out of context you arnt much different. Take the dang symbols in context and they are completely acceptable. Taken in hindsight they are in poor taste, but you dont have hind sight when you first make a thing.
Somewhere in the world your spelling of the name of their holy book offended someone. How dare you!

Dunno. Wiki seams to think my spelling is one of the accepted. If you prefer another please state it.

The Qur’an (English pronunciation: /kɒˈrɑːn/ korr-AHN; Arabic: القرآن‎ al-qur’ān, IPA: [qurˈʔaːn], literally “the recitation”) is the religious text of Islam,[1] also sometimes transliterated as Quran, Kuran, Koran, Qur’ān, Coran or al-Qur’ān.

Cool link bro. Fox videos. A remark from someone who knew him in school. Stupid basis for your argument. He posted videos 3 weeks ago that tout anti-federal beliefs. A hallmark of people on the right.

Considering the document was created by the U.S. Dpt. of Justice, then yeah there is at least a mild degree of credible evidence supporting their theory.

But I think what bothers me most is how Palin an their aide so blatantly disregard their own symbolism for what it is. Directing it as crosshairs you'd see on a map, and were never intended to be related to guns.

Which is my point about trying to link SP via the dumb poster to the shooting.

there is no connection.

isolated events. tragic choice of graphic art in hindsight, but how can you reasonably know what a crazy person might do. he may not have even ever seen the dumb poster.
