I DW these (6% augment on both) while /NIN inside because its so damn easy to cap crit hit rate inside abyssea. Its also a poor man's setup that I haven't improved yet that I still do use while /NIN, which is only for a few, and I mean a few, things (right now I solo/duo dyna exp a lot for trials, that comes to mind as time I /nin). There are better options. Leviathan.Celebrindal said: » I DW these (6% augment on both) while /NIN inside because its so damn easy to cap crit hit rate inside abyssea. We've started bringing rng instead of thf for empy farming when we go with 3-4 members. Average yield per hour has gone up with the change. i dont, just hard to convince everyone else not to underestimate it lol

Never once been told what job to come on. I wish we did more of it just because I'm behind on a lot of gear b/c of a bad timing of a break I took (december to mid-march). STP Overshooted by 2 tho When im done with aug SctBeret+2 I assume I have to put 5/5 recycle merits? So is this actually the most practical set now just with /war using dagger instead for tping in? I've been camping this topic off and on for a couple weeks and looking back seems like we have a lot of outdated gear and mostly conflict in opinion for whats best now. Does the light gorget still win vs the Nefarious collar? Would a perfectly augmented Osode with 2% crit rate and +5 dex win vs all else? Asura.Dianabol

Osode with crit dmg+3 and 5dex...7ratt is prolly best
Edit: Forgot to quote.

Realizing this thread is supposed to be for WS only, but people have been yelled at to come check this topic for TP builds as well so I figured I might as well. At what point does x-hit builds become inefficient in comparison to hitting harder/crits etc? I know x-hit doesn't matter that much etc due to regain and such, but try and humor me and go retro XI or something. ;) Asura.Dianabol

My Best so far Asura.Dianabol said: » Osode with crit dmg+3 and 5dex...7ratt is prolly best Sorry, I had forgotten about the 3rd augment, your right with the 7 ratk, but I thought it was said (on page 14) that its better to do crit rate because it applies to all hits vs dmg which only applies if you actually do crit? Honestly I'm more curious about the best TP set atm than I am ws set now but might as well figure this out too. Offline

Anyone crunched numbers o Wanion vs Light Belt? I'm thinking Light will still be ahead but I just got wanion and trying it out but I have no parsers/etc.

Pretty sure gorget/ele. belt are best since fTP transfers on all hits.

ok for those augmented osode people im still lost are you using crit hit damage3%?(suzaku scrap)
or crit hit rate 2-3%? (byakko scrap) ive yet to see anyone or any picture of a crit hit rate 3% only 2% so is 3% even possiable on these? if so can somone post a ss ty They're going for 3% crit rate. A few pages back someone posted that 3% rate is possible.
so light gorge t beats rancor collar with full tonberry hate?

Where does Thaumus hat stand for this ws with the 4% crit hit rate?
