I always tell my friends to dual-class Monk in D&D (inb4nerd) so I feel it should be no different in XI!

MNK 50% Counterstance + /MNK 50% Counterstance = 100% Counter. MNK/MNK/DNC to solo everything and heal yourself up after TP moves and magic.

This is by far the best thread of this nature so far. Not because of the obvious hilarity in the idea, but because I want so much to be able to do things as MNK/MNK. I'd even bring all my other jobs back to level 1 in order to pull it off.
I knew it was only a matter of time.

When the level cap increase was first announced, I remember talking with people about a third sub job and how awesome that would be. I really hope we see that..

I recently Solo'd Rani as a MNK/MNK with double Counterstance up. Apparently with 100% counter-rate, I was able to avoid Meteor and promptly took him down. No brew was used as it was not needed due to my amazing HP Boost traits that I got from my MNK sub. Not sure why no one thought of this sooner. Thank you Ryan, you sir, are a non existant God among men.
