The fact that Starr made a statement directly related to the thread, albeit a disagreement, and later expressed that it would be interesting if they had the time to join (being on the server and all, it could happen). Then the OP was slightly upset at being referred to as "bro" which as most people know is used on the internet as a term implying informality, and not really indicative of gender (personally it always throws me off when people call me "dude" cause I'm like.... not a dude... so I can understand it but the term does mean something, or at least is used as something, in the realm of the internet that is different than the real world definition). One more back and forth in which Starr actually said "cool story bro" in response to the issue with being called "bro" which you SHOULD know (if you've spent any time on any forum) is not a statement so much as referring to a meme. OP didn't get it quite tho and said it was "trolling." Starr responded with an entirely overblown response that on the surface may even have seemed exclusively provocative, but that wasn't even the one you took offense to oddly enough. But if you take the time to look you'd see that it was just a way to show that there was no ill will meant by the prior statements that had upset the OP. The statement that was so traumatizing that it deserved this lovely thread was basically just another poke at gender roles. In saying that you shouldn't be labeled, even casually, as a male, you are asserting the fact that as a female you should be treated differently - often, when a person is treated differently because of an aspect of what they are as opposed to just who they choose to be, it is a negative thing. Heard of discrimination? It's generally not good. So yeah. What I read is, why force gender into the issue when all that can possibly do is bring about judgment based on something that you cannot control (ie gender - unless you feel the need for a sex change that is). It is better to just treat people as people, and in this circumstance, those people are being called "bro"! Edit: thread here

The bro comment was not what bothered me it was the inferior comment. I have looked at some of his other posts and found that they are just as bad yet people keep putting up with it. Why? Everyone is so quick to judge me in here yet they think this guy is just great. Maybe he is a nice guy Maybe people like the way he bashes on people , Maybe he is popular I don’t care. If this forum is going to be so free and let us attack each other in this way then hell, all I can do is defend myself until the owners decide I am not welcome.

I thought maybe there were other people in here that may have the same view on this and want to discuss what is bothering them too. I guess I was wrong everyone just accepts it. Only way to deal with it so fight fire with fire I guess.

#1 I don't know anyone who thinks he's great. He's quite insulting and annoying to say the least. #2 Should have gone with this idea instead rather than what it initially seemed liked, people tattling on each other.
