MNK Tanking Gear

For MNK tanking I'm usually fulltiming capped subtle blow gear with as much counter+ as poss and have counterstance up 100%. Depending on the mob I'm /nin /war or /dnc. Having a WHM with Afflatus Solace Cure VI on hand means I really don't have to worry about much. I haven't put any attention into MDT or PDT yet, but I realise for stuns and petrify that would be a good option to save some WHM MP and avoid hate loss.

Subtle blow though for keeping the TP moves down while the rest of the party are trying to proc grellow. Since Auspice can't take Subtle Blow over the 50% cap I honestly think its better used on the nukers.

Can any one post what would be realistic items for an evasion build one could purchase off AH or are not to difficult to obtain?

IE: no 1 mil items or NM's that take more than duoing to kill.

Pick mnk, pick single stat, pick evasion.

If the item shown is too expensive click it, has alternatives, listed in highest to lowest evasion.

Keep in mind evasion skill and evasion are 2 sep stats, so would have to do this twice to see what eva skill gear vs evasion gear avail.

I'd give you a set, but not rly interested in looking up each item and seeing if it costs too much or takes a NM, etc.

Today i duoed Berstuk which a rdm.. I always interrupt the casting spell of ga Water V which my destroyer/haste/25% haste.. But i'm looking for a real tank equip when i'm killing aura mob using Amnesia silence.. Can anybody post some setup? ok for pdt- but put something easy to get.. will be nice if i swich on hades in this case? for eva equip there is still work for it or just go counter build now?I mean for easy/decent mob Eva work? Better counter on it? or just mix of counter pdt- > counter?

Might be a dumb ? but when using counter stance with melee gaiters equiped can u take them off after u use counter stance or does the enhancment go away when u take them off?

can take them off, just need them on when you use the JA.

tanked on my mnk Berstuk, Ironclad Attow Duo mnk/dnc rdm/blm, Perscepot.. W/o counter atma..

I use a pretty basic evasion set when the situation calls for it. By no means is it extravigant but I think it adds up to +50 EVA and 17 EVA Skill from Boxer's.

For -MDT sets are there any chepaer options than Avalon for body?

lore robe or +1 is the only alternative for MNK MDT in that slot.
