The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
they can pick it up and give it back to you and tell you not to litter too
I am so freaking excited right now. A friend of mine who is a fairly decent campaign writer (D&D) is currently working on a fanfic of sorts and intends to include a Dragonborn and Grey Warden team up o_o I can't wait!

Happened to me also. F^cking Khajits need to lay off the Moon Sugar. Im going to start a new file tonight. Going to try to make one ultimate character. I know what I can enchant my gear with now. and some of the perks are i got are pointless. Going to erase my Nord file I started and have 4 hours into, and I'm going to keep my main file with 2 saves. Going to make another Breton. The magic resistance is godly, and I've played as a Breton since Morrowwind. But yeah, I can already name 8 perks I don't need at all now and those most def. can be distributed elsewhere. I'm semi-elitist sadly. So I know I can't continue on playing on the character I have. I'm still looking forward to it. I get more playtime than the average person, so I can't really say its a total waste. Ha. Plus I still have a good month until my Visa is paid off. Blah. i'd have tons of playtime... if i had an HDTV all to myself =/
Yeah, I do shift work. 6 days on, 6 days off. I play for about 4 hours after work, and full time on my days off. I love it.

From what I understand if you stole a horse after misplacing yours, you gotta find it the old fashioned way (and hopefully before a dragon does o-o) Phoenix.Lillicarnage said: » Quetzalcoatl.Crystalchan said: » Is there a faster way to find your horse? Like for instance the only one I remember in oblivion was a lockpick you could find that would never break, so you could spam a master lock all day and just get skillups.
that day I was escaping a giant and 2 mammoths, I jumped over a mountain, and I saw a thug kill someone who was riding a horse and tried to kill the horse too. killed the thug and stole the lonely horse (owner was dead so why not?) and rode it to town.
edit: I beleive someone mentioned you get the unbreakable lockpick by finishing the thief guild quests? also, I found a Giro thingy in a big shiney box, looks like it work on some machine..... or is it just junk to be sold? Skeleton key is back in the game, but you can only use it until you finish the Thief's Guild Quest line. And iirc it was a daedric quest in Oblivion. So far I've ran into Molag Bal, Mehrune Dagon, Azura, and Meridia's Questlines. Not sure if there's any other Daedric quests in this game or not. Was sorta upset to find out Daedric Armor has a defense then Dragon :(
Skyrims endgame...
Just reading about peoples thoughts on the whole civil war storyline....
On my first paladin style character I decided to join the Empire due to his style being more fitting of that story, and on my second character a sneaky archer woodelf type I joined the Stormcloaks. I originally thought that the Empire would be a lot worse than they seem, I agree that theyre both not perfect, but I can't help but feel the Empire is the 'good' way to play it. If nothing else I think the Jarl of Whiterun is a good man and siding with him seems to be the 'good' way. Just my thoughts. I guess I just never really found a use for the weapon he gives (unless I'm screwing around) so he slipped my mind lol. ugh i hate adept/master locks that unlock from the default position, takes all the fun out of it -_-;
i hate master locks, i suck *** at them

In Morrowind, there was only one full set, and you had to kill an NPC to get it. A very important NPC. There were single pieces hidden here and there but I don't think you could make a full set from the hidden pieces. The weapons were worth something like 110,000 gold as well, so it was extremely highly sought after. I only ever found a Left Pauldron in that Castle Karstaag or whatever it was called, the one made of ice. On the roof.
Lol all the seperate pieces of armour in Morrowind was amazing.
Left gauntlet, right gauntlet, right pauldron, left pauldron, body, helmet, legs, boots. I reinstalled morrowind on my laptop for when Im away <_<; Morrowind also had a bunch of different helms, and the rare items were the best aside from alchemy hax to get ridiculous stats on your own stuff. Collecting the Daedric armors in morrowind was part of the challenge or one of the things to do.
Skyrim...you can make better stuff than you can find in every category pretty easily. If you take the time to level alchemy and make some enchant potions to make alchemy and smithing rings a few times, then smith your items and enchant them with more potions you can one-shot everything. Cut that time in half and you can still 2 shot any foe aside from dragons. Also, the reason dragon is the level 100 unlock for smithing is because it also has the light armor version. (from what I can guess) You can make the light armor with potions/gear + light armor unlocks to the point that you take almost no damage aside from magic. I actually like the look of dragon armor more so than daedric. Kind of funny thing though, when I crafted my Daedric Shield and enchanted it with 23% (maybe 27%, don't remember) magic resistance and 47% block rate, I called it Daegis.
Wearing light bone armor just suits my overall sneak RPG style better. When I recraft my Daedric set, it's going to be pure related to a Destruction path, that's totally how I would/am going to use it. I don't want sissy robes on my Mage. I want full force heavy Daedric. Anyone know of any mods for the PC version that improve performance? Aka: Low Poly Grass, etc. Not able to find many, except one called "Better Performance", but I think I'll be needing more.
Okay, so no one but a Dragonborn or those who have trained in the Way of the Voice can withstand hearing even a whisper from the Grey Beards...
But if you take a companion with you and talk to the Grey Beards, they don't die.. Despite the voice being powerful enough to shake the entire building. |
