I'm currently using a lolgeforce9500gt and it's leaving much to be desired. My budget is about 180$ Edit: As a baseline I was looking at this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161393 Would appreciate anything better for the cost. Not exactly what you're asking BUT just to help you make a decision, I'm using a 9800 GTX+ which is fairly old and I'm pumping out some great graphics. Of course better is better, just saying, you don't NEED to SLI or anything to run the game well :) This game is really fun, I've never played any of the Elder Scrolls series before, and I feel like I'm gonna be spending a lot of time playing this.
I'm just stoked I have a house now so I can store my 15lb dragon bones and stuff now. I noticed a lot of shout powers are most suitable for up close combat, yet my favorite character type is the sneaky type. How suitable are shout powers for those that move in shadows and cut throats?

@Artemicion
Lightning sprint (fast dash that can get you past obstacles and traps safely) Invinciblity (makes you invincible for a short period. You cannot attack while invincible. This shout is meant to be used to jump off high buildings) So far Cerberus.Irohuro said: » just got lydia, headed up to high hrothgar now good LORD its a long walk to ivarstead. and i thought i lost her halfway up the mountain, but then she reappeared.. lol
edit: LOL its so funny when you kill wolfs on the steep paths they go sliding down XD well it only took me 11 1/2 hours to get from whiterun to ivarstead =/
2:11 in. Can't breathe omg;; Psycho Slip said: » Cerberus.Irohuro said: » just got lydia, headed up to high hrothgar now Perhaps she is hoping to get lucky, eh? @:42 i said the same thing lol

wow >.> i get 100 for a quest from some royalty, but 500 from some random dude in a tiny *** little village
how do you buy a home? ^.^
Complete the first quest for the Jarl of Whiterun and he'll allow you to purchase a house for 5,000 gold.
thank you ^.^
im only at 2500 so far =/
Took me a while to get 5k. Doesn't help that I disenchanted all of the good items :C
Was lucky and found a soul trap weapon early on though. Wonder if Azura's Star is in this game... haven't done her quest yet Anyone know how to get into Ysgramor's Tomb?
I can't seem to work it out. Ugh, I didn't get that far in the game, but I think the PS3's HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE auto save thingy overwrote my initial save file of my primary character. Strangely it kept auto saves from WAY far back otherwise.
I might just disable auto save altogether if I can and keep individual saves to differentiate my character builds. woah, i just did dustman's cairn for proving honor, and i made like over 1k gold straight from picking it up. every single enemy had gold on it (minus the rats). there was also some pretty good loot in there too
edit: <- now a werewolf. give 100% disease resistance in both forms, and you can choose to transform whenever you want, or not at all if you prefer Ok so I baught skyrim for ps3....., and it didnt work...well at least not for my ps3, I have a 150gig 1st generation, that came with Uncharted, Every game/dvd/bluray I have put on my ps3 has worked, until I got xmen first class on bluray, and only my ps3 wouldnt play for some reason, then today when i tried to play skyrim, It didnt work either, I tried it on my bro's ps3, and it worked fine, so did xmen first class. has anyone had a problem like this?, i think im going to send my ps3 in, and have them look at it,
Btw, I played skyrim for about 4hours, and thought it was awesome, already Like it better then oblivion. Valefor.Prothescar said: » Took me a while to get 5k. Dovahkiins everywhere! So far in my 16hrs of playing I've finished the mage guild thingy, started on the dark brotherhood, and half way through the thieves guild. Also killed a few giants and 5 dragons.

The laser is going out on the disc reader. Same exact thing happened to me, just with different games/discs, some would work, some wouldn't, some would work only some of the time, some would get to the loading screen for like the main menu then just stop. You can replace it yourself for cheaper than sending it in if the warranty is dead on it and you're handy with electronics, it's not that hard, not any soldering or anything, you just have to take it apart and replace the laser which is as simple as unplugging the old one and plugging in a new one. There's plenty of guides on the internet on how to do it step by step, and guides to identify the exact laser you need. There's also a chance (a slim one) that the lens is dirty and needs to be cleaned, there's guides for that as well. |
