Blisterwort Glowing Mushroom Sabre Cat Tooth Spriggan Sap Mix 2 or 3 of those. Well ***son. Everything has a wiki.
Starting to wish there was a desynthing option for Smithing.
Would be nice if you could melt all those stupid weapons and armor you find to make materials for yourself. Oh well, a mining I will go~ For those of you curious about your smithing and armor ratings, just to save you perks in wasting it into defense or using enchants to save your perks, this is how you figure out your outcome:
Base armor + upgraded tier** *(1 + 0.4 * ???/Skill(ie light/heavy skill))* (matching set perk + Fitted perks) *(defense % perks) ** this is where your total smithing skill is applied(skill/gear/potions)/2, if you dont have the appropriate smithing perks its /4 instead. Note: if youre using a shield you have to add that after you do your calculations step up above, basically mimicing everything(except the defense % perk) you just did, but for your shield. You get an extra 100 def(invisible, not seen on screen) when wearing 4 pieces of armor. This is applied at the end of everything(thus perks/drinks dont affect it, its a straight 100(120 with shield I think), just like Lords stone is a straight +50). Around 650 and under 700 is where youll want to be for max damage reduction(physically). So visibly 550 and under 600. Less if you use Lord's Stone. Hope this helps people, so they can better plan out their perks and not waste unnecessary perks that will probably do nothing for them. Oops, I have ~1500 more armor than I need :| So my laptop can't handle 20 ancient dragons spawning in the middle of whiterun :<
placeatme is fun, I really like how you can use the help command to find the ID for anything thats in the game lol. Not advised to save after extensive use of placeatme though, it causes save bloating, but fun for a mess around and creating battles. Phoenix.Kirana said: » Oops, I have ~1500 more armor than I need :| I know a lot of the posters here are going sneak/theif or mage builds thus theyll resort to light armor and probably think they need to pack on the defense buffs(more than they should). Been trying to figure out how skill works for weapons and if its different than skill on armor. For instance(skill 35 1 hand) I get damage rating on a ebony sword(no gear or skill perks for added damage) +15 +27(legendary, just 100 smithing) +38(legendary, 100 smithing + 100 smithing in gear((x4 25)) +48(Legendary, 100 smithing +112smithing +40store bought potion)* +59(Legendary, 100 smithing +112 smithing +91~93 potion)** *I was in a hurry so I couldnt camp the shop for a +50 potion, Its basically the same outcome as I added more smithing to in gear to make that up. **This is missing a max of 41 smithing to cap out at what the max values of the game can offer you with 100x3 smithing/enchant/alchemy full perks, which would probably add another 5-7 damage Anyhow thought people could see what exactly theyre missing out on or exactly how much more doing all the maxing out will do. Id advise, to get double enchanting and spend some of the spots for +armor def(assuming you do use gear/pots to overcome this) or +weapon dmg and outside of the +20% for armor/weapons skip the rest and save on perks allowing your enchants to make up the difference of the perks.(can do +40 x2 for your desired weapon class + 20% perk = 5/5 weapon perk, you just saved 4 perks and didnt over power your game one bit) OMG the *** werewolf video, I laughed so hard I couldn't breath. YOU ALMOST KILLED ME
Hades.Cheyne said: » came across a bunch of hippies preying to the "God of Mercy" on my explorations, wasn't feeling very merciful tho so i killed them all >:3
also.. Sheogorath is awesome :o Hades.Cheyne said: » Amazing. If they had done the shot from a crouch they wouldnt have got any bounty! I killed that guy early on - he is pretty annoyingly loud On an unrelated sidenote... So far the most disappointing quest for me has been joining the Stormcloaks. Some of these bugs MUST be intentional. YouTube is already crawling of them. I think Bethesda is just really REALLY good at marketing.
Hades.Cheyne said: » I found some gloves with +12% smithing results, so hopefully I can find that ring too. Found blacksmith's potion that gives +20% too. Also, how do you find the recipe for a potion? Have to have drunk it before? Alchemy is only 16 lol. ._. Find low piece of gear with smithing upgrade- Disenchant - make body, hands, neck, and ring all with smithing enchants. Use potions I was able to get 22% on hands, body, ring and neck with lvl 60~ enchanting and an enchanters philter edit- that was on armor too, i'm not sure if you can enchant clothes with smithing upgrade, maybe could do hat & feet u can enchant things like Fancy Clothes etc, tho u can't put smithing on any head/feet as far as i know
I still can't pick whether to join Stormcloak or the Imperials but I'm leaning towards the Imperials.
Level 41 and I haven't progressed the story past meeting the Greybeards :/ Cerberus.Valmur said: » Lulz. I still gotta do that one of these days... kill everything everyone in my way! make a ghost town! My game is so glitchie... I can't finish this Compainion quest story arch because the NPC doesn't flag my quest even though it says it starts right after the CS for the end of the previous quest... Whiterun has some imperial NPC following me around.. and anytime I'm in the forest regions, I lag so hard. Kinda disappointing...

My class doesnt specialize in magic, so Fortify MP and MP regeneration arent available(ie I havenet gone out of my way to enchant) and the save that I have it at atm has less than a 1k in gold(will update it after I finish my quest on present save). Hope this helps anyone planning out their enchantments etc Figuring out your enchanted value: (Enchantment base) * enchanter perk(20% 40% etc) + potion % * Insightful enchanter perk( 1.25**) * Corpus Enchanter perk(1.25**) = enchanted % on armor ** If applicable, also not sure if they floor after each step, or round up or down. Hmmm... okay I have about 50 Giant's Toes and I never have them in the ingredient list for alchemy, and I can't store them because it says it is a quest item.
Anyone know the quest? WHY does everyone ask me if im sick or say you look sick are you feeling well?
i know i couldnt have contracted vampire virus bc i havent left the whiterun / riverwood area. Why do ppl say this? is it bc i am nord and chose a lighter skin tone? lol Valefor.Ivaan said: » WHY does everyone ask me if im sick or say you look sick are you feeling well? i know i couldnt have contracted vampire virus bc i havent left the whiterun / riverwood area. Valefor.Ivaan said: » WHY does everyone ask me if im sick or say you look sick are you feeling well? Also Megan told me that sleeping(think 4 hours +) gives you well rested status. I dont know if this has anything to do with anything, but maybe you just look tired(sleep deprived?),though I dont know how accurate her claim is, but shes a woman so shes always right~ Okay, learned something new. When enemies cry for mercy, if you leave them alone they will gain back some health and get back up and try to kill you again. -_- That's what I get for being a nice guy.
