maybe he'll actually know what you're saying this time, I bet he's researching Gregor Mendel right about now....he'll still think of some way to deny it regardless if you fit his qualifications.

for you to provide evidence to the contrary you would have to provide an example of a religious person that follows the scientific method, doing so is impossible (unless you can find evidence to support the said religion they claim to practice) until you can do such thing there really is no such thing as a religious scientist. if they don't follow the scientific method they aren't a scientist, if they dont have their blind faith they aren't religious, the two don't mix.

Gregor Mendel. Until you tell me what about the Austrian Augustinian monk and father of genetics doesn't meet your requirements, we are at an impasse.

How about:

Max Planck, he won the 1918 Nobel Prize in Physics and is considered the founder of Quantum mechanics. He had been raised an observant Lutheran and was an elder in his church from 1920 to his death.

Or

Georges Lemaître, was a Belgian Roman Catholic priest, honorary prelate, professor of physics and astronomer at the Catholic University of Louvain. Lemaître was the first scientist to propose what became known as the Big Bang theory of the origin of the Universe, which he called his 'hypothesis of the primeval atom.

Or

Arthur Compton, he won a Nobel Prize in Physics. He also was a deacon in the Baptist Church and wrote an article in Christianity Takes a Stand that supported the controversial idea of the United States maintaining the peace through a nuclear-armed air force.

I could go on, but do I really need to? I think I have proven my point.

Care to expand upon that idea? You really aren't bolstering your point that a religious scientist can't and therefore has never existed. You are just saying no over and over again without reason.

Apparently the points are logical, that's all you need to know. If you can't figure it out you're a moron. /sarcasm off

:Comes home:

LOL funny stuff.

Hey pretty cool jet, guess this religious nut job beat the system because he got a science degree. I'm changing all the textbooks to say God and Sarah Palin made the universe. Also taking genetics out, sorry dude Blind mentioned. You probably weren't a real monk anyways.

Also you are a complete idiot and I feel for you. (Btw thanks for pointing out the star wars joke earlier, that would of flew right past my head.)

BTW I'm suprised no one ran with beer to derail this thread. Sorry OP, I didn't even watch your video, but will agree that religion, and people with religious beliefs do get slammed...just like any other group we as humans like to lump people in with.

Don't necessarily agree with this. Thinking differently is my right. Noone can take away my right to think. Privelages can be taken away.
