What I would do is cast diaga to get his shadows off asap, then try and cast silence, but by that time I would already be slept. I don't know how you'd go about it, but I don't see of any way you could feasibly beat that.

Also there are much faster ways to make gil. Even if you assume you beat 2 people an hour (and that's being fair) 100k an hour is pathetic.

I was unbeaten for quite awhile 1 vs 1 and this guy handed my *** to me. He uses different sets every time you fight him. He used Drk/Rdm when I faught him and pretty much hit me with enfeebs and then took my mp. When he gets in trouble he sleeps or binds( I was on Pld/rdm) and he had no problem sleeping me for the most part. When he does use a scythe he uses Infernal that was doing 600-700 damage on a decently gear pld.
