hello I would be gratefull for help in getting the ffxiah web page to fully load seems that the history section of item search will not display. I am sure its something simple but I have failed to configure it out.
All this started when I tried to prevent embedded adaverts from opening on the ffxiclopedis site. so many adverts that they prevented me from seeing the web page fully very annoying.
Do hope you can assist me.

seems to be working to me. looks to me as if you just signed up, so its only going to show your history, and titles exc from the date you signed up, not before then. If thats what you were talking about.

At the top of each heading there are 3 small buttons (- / and []).

The first one minimises whatever completely.
The second one lists only 5 items.
The third lists all 25 items (or all comments).

Maybe its your scripts? Do you have software to block scripts, ads, etc.? Is Java up to date? I'm trying to find things that maybe others may know.

You said: All this started when I tried to prevent embedded adaverts from opening on the ffxiclopedis site.

Maybe reverse whatever you did and see what happens?

I had some issues when I first installed noscript, but that was easily remedied when I "allowed" FFXIAH...

I have investigated the error consol in firefox.

found some lines which all read as follows

Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'filter'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: http://www.ffxiah.com/player.php?id=1354257
Line: 0

If there is a script expert out there maybe they could make some sense of it.

Here's hoping :(

Ooh! I know! Reformat your computer and reinstall everything... Then don't try modifying stuff and end up breaking it. =)

Besides... It's not like I was 'serious' about it...

But re-formatting every year to two years or so is good imo. Helps ya get rid of all the junk. >.>

On a side note, I would suggest creating an image of your drive the next time you reformat and install your OS.

Install your "critical Apps" such as FFXI, Firefox, your IM client, Anti-virus, etc and create an image. (no, not windows recovery point)

By doing this you are creating a much nicer 'restart' point for when you want to reformat. I've known people who after adopting this technique load the image as much as every month just to keep things slick.

XD Yep! I need to backup and reformat my desktop and laptop soon...
Laptop has like 500MB of 150GB free and the desktop has like 1GB of 250GB free. @.@

*Nods.* Yep, that's a great idea Xan. Images are great not only for large companies with multiple computers, but also for your home computers as well. =)

you must have alot of porn on your pc to have big cobwebs lol Ppl need to get an external drive to hold music, pictures, videos, programs, and other documents.

It makes it alot easier to keep clean and not make pc so slow with having all your stuff saved on 1 harddrive
